This tour was recorded and released on VHS as 'New Town - Bryan Ferry in Europe'. The setlist is mostly songs from 'Boys and Girls' and 'Bête Noire', but also has a nice selection of Roxy stuff. A great and very consistent show, excellent players, and Ferry is at his best as performer, living the songs as only he can. As far as I know, this has never been re-released on DVD. I really wish it would be. Many of the songs are available here on YouTube, but the show is worth seeing in its entirety.
I have an 8 year old son who thinks this song is great. It helps having a dad with good taste but how encouraging to know that young people can appreciate real music made with soul - that grooves without relying on machines. It's so nice to see a performance like this, knowing that every sound is originating from someone on stage.
thank you for posting this. are you able to post both Limbo and The Chosen One as one video to keep them seamless in the way that they performed them?
@sundaramaji Wow, that was a great sequence!!! I love the art direction that was used especially during ladytron where you saw flashes of the instruments towards the end of the songs. Think, I'll watch the VHS again. Has this been converted to DVD yet?
high, who cares, he can sing, the entire band is very good at their skill and emotional delivery. The lyrics and music, something rare in music then and today.
he may be stoned, but what a great voice, and that's what counts, like the white sox, i wear black suit on stage with white sox and white tie, the blues look

Just LOOK at him! He can't dance to save his life! He looks like he's crippled! And on top of all that, he looks so stoned he has no idea where he even is! LOL! More like a comedy than a music video.

High-toned? Oh come on man he looks deranged! I mean he's completely immobilized! LOL He's so high he can't even walk! And even if he could? He'd still be a crappy dancer! LOL!!!!! this video is COMEDY at its finest!
@Verkhovynets09 You are COMEDY at it's trolliest. Throw all your music away that was crafted or inspired by artists who were under the influence. Have fun with yer Pat Boone albums pal-o...
Opening song! Such great energy! Love it, love it! *I couldn't get my copy transferred to be able to play in the US after the tour. Thanks to you guys, I get to reminisce nowadays. Much love.
Without a doubt one of the best dressed bands ever!

@genglemt Actually, the gig was re-released on DVD last year. It is indeed one of Ferry's best solo performances, recommended.
