The Big Gay Sketch show is amazing! Fitzwilliam sketches are love! I still have to own it though... or Skins (which is not easy to get a hold of where I live). I'm happy that BGSS comes with Outlaugh, which you should check out. It's hilarious (duh, it's stand up comedy - by LGBTQ[RTS])

Jeannette Winterson is a British Lesbian author. One of her books, i think it is titled "Orange is not the only fruit" is about a young girl/woman accepting her lesbian sexuality. The book was made into a mini series in the mid 80's??

On a more recent note, do you have a few point about "Home and Away" including a lesbian kiss, and a lesbian couple. Did you see the footage? I have not. What did you think of it?

There's a lot of controversy around the 'lesbian kiss' and 'lesbian couple' in home and away... personally I think its great queer relationships are getting any coverage on such a mainstream show... whether the kiss was censored from a longer makeout or not seems to be a topic of debate and I'm not sure of the answer. I think the lesbian relationship is supposedly only running for about 6 episodes.. ratings ploy much? We'll see whether its positive by how it pans out I guess...

Lefty :) I think everybody loves Mean Girls. I do, mainly because of Lizzy Caplan :D There's going to be a second one, apparently, but it looks as though Tina Fey doesn't have any involvement. No I think Australians tend to view the Brits as more our kin in a way.... we have a rather critical view of Americans actually... they are often the butt of country jokes, if any country (other than new zealand!).. which is ironic because Australia is in many ways supposedly like America's 'little brother' in terms of culture media etc.
