"beauty is in the eye of the beholder." perception of the badguy is skewed. i heard before i saw the film that is was very clean cut in who was good and evil, but now it is clear to me that it was basically blindness that caused distruction. so Jake was not, in my opinion, a traitor of humanity. i believe he was preserving it by acting on his feelings. its possible to argue that he betrayed his ppl, but he was preserving life which is something that many humans value over riches-just a thought..
