also, Prussia didn't get taken over. After WW2 he got dissolved into Germany and had to give up all the land he took from surrounding countries by order of the Allied forces. Then when west Germany was under Russia's control his remained land got broken up into states of Germany. So now Prussia is no longer a country. He didn't get taken over, he got dissolved.

Technically, they didn't forget them. This song was written before the breakup of the USSR and Yugoslavia, so Ukraine etc didn't exist at the time. Also, Germany had only just reunited and there were still two Yemens, so the song is around 20 years out of date. Liechtenstien is in, near the end. Seychelles I can't comment on; that's probably a mistake. They did also miss out South Africa.

I'm slowly adding countries that are not included in Yakko's song... so far the ones that come to mind are Wales (already posted) and Burkina Faso (in Africa). Of course the song is a bit dated and the political geography of the world has changed since then. I think it would be interesting to go back and see when it was first written and see how accurate the song is to political borders as they existed then.
