  • Yes, you are religious. You believe in a specific religions god, you're a part of that religion, you're religious.

"I believe the Bible is the Word of God" There's no such thing as 'THE bible', lol. Nor did anything in this paragraph relate to anything else said.

  • Here is another question. Would you have children, knowing that they ( your children) might rebel against you, hate you and disobey your rules. You know that this is a possiblity, but you still have children anyway. Then to go one step further.Would you give up your life so your children could have life? What a great sacrifice, what a great God. Only God would do something like this. Your youtube question shows arrogance and ignorance. Thanks for posting it.

  • God knows all things and is completely aware of those who will spend eternity in hell. God had the knowledge of this as well of the fact that He would come to earth as Jesus Christ. The invisible God becomes God in the flesh as Jesus Christ. He lays down His own life, take a brutal beating, and gives Himself for those who are destined for hell. He knew this as well as the place He created. Now that is love.

  • @kimkerchner "Now that is love. "

Needing to die for others just to get over them doing things you don't like is not love, its crazy. Has your mom ever done anything you don't like? Or your father? By your logic you can't even be around them until they kill you and you rise again. Like I said, insane.

  • @humanistheart Your questions make no sense. My mom and dad have done things I don't like. So, what does this have to do with what God does? Did you ever read Romans 1:17-32? I have asked you this three times. No answer back. Why can't you answer this question. It's a yes or no question.

  • U aren't going to hell, Jesus saved us. Be happy ;) He isnt gonna sent u to hell even by seeing you uploading videos against him. U need not believe in him and you need not get closer to him. U will be saved any way. That defines the unending love and grace of God. He came to world to bring salvation and he have done it. But if u believe in God and get closer to him. U will be also too closer to him in heaven. ;)

  • God created you and He knew you were going to ask many questions about HIm, He knew you would be defiant and reluctant in your belief in Him. He knew you would sin against Him, yet He loved you enough to send His only Son Jesus Christ. Jesus died for the sins you committed against God and has given you time to ask Him to forgive you, repent and trust in HIm. Why aren't you. If you die in your sin, God has a place for you to worship Him. It's called Hell. He does not want you to go there. LOVE

  • @kimkerchner "God has a place for you to worship Him. It's called Hell. He does not want you to go there. LOVE"

Do what I say or suffer is hardly 'love'.

  • @humanistheart People ( You and me) have earned hell based on our lives. We all have sinned against God and fall short of His standards. We don't go to hell because He forces us to worship Him. We go to hell because we sinned against Him. We worship God because He died on our behalf. He took our place on the cross. He suffered so we could have life. We worship Him out of graitute not out of obligation. Now is our opportunity to thank Him and worship Him. Hell was made for satan and sinners.

  • @kimkerchner 2) "We go to hell because we sinned against Him. "

    A meaningless concept.

"We worship God because He died on our behalf." Nope.

  • @humanistheart It is not a meaningless concept. It is truth. We will all be judged by God when we die. Hell is a place that was designed for satan, his demons and those who sinned against a holy God. Jesus offers eternal salvation in heaven as well as safety from the punishment of eternal seperation in the place called hell. Why would you reject this loving sacrifice that was done for me and you? Take a knee and ask God to forgive you and change your heart. Place your trust in Jesus Christ.

  • @kimkerchner "It is not a meaningless concept. It is truth."

No, it's a belief, and a very horrid one at that. AGAIN, see my video, god based morality is meaningless.

  • @humanistheart I have watched your video. You have really gone to get lenghts to stretch & twist truth. God is not a tyrant and dictator as you have suggested. God has never sinned. God has given man (us) standards and man (me and you) have broken those laws and standards. The clay pot can't tell the pot maker how to make the pot. The child does not tell the parent how to parent. The employee does not tell the employer how he or she will work. God only wants your heart. Give Him a your heart.

  • @kimkerchner "I have watched your video. " You're responses don't reflect that, so I doubt it. Leave a comment next time to prove it.

    "God has never sinned"

In the abrahamic religion 'sin' is just whatever Yahweh doesn't like, and he LOVES himself, so he can do things people can't. It's a sin to kill for people, but then he commits mass genocide and infanticide, and it's not a sin. So 'sin' is a meaningless concept.

  • @humanistheart Friend, sin is doing things that God hates. When people worship false idols, commit murder, lie, steal, hate and not acknowledge God as Creator, then that is sin. God deals with sin in His way. I am not God nor do I have all the answers. God is the one who handles it. We all have a choice. God will treat you as you have treated Him. Did you honor Him or blashpheme Him. Do you love Him or do you hate and rebel against Him? God will be fair with you.

  • @kimkerchner "Friend, sin is doing things that God hates." Which is meaningless, and odd since he does what he ?tells others not to do. Why does he do what he hates, hmm

  • @humanistheart You are saying God does what He hates. You have convinced yourself of a lie, or some twisted way of thinking. God can't sin, nor can God lie. You on the other hand have the ability to do both and do both very well. Don't supress the truth about God merely to protect your own life-style. God is angry at sinful people because they have substituted the truth about Him with a fantasy of their own imagination.

  • @kimkerchner "You are saying God does what He hates." Man you're stupid.

YOU said sin is what god HATES. So if it's a sin to, for example kill, as the ten commandments say, than he must hate killing, yet HE orders and commits MASS INFANTICIDES. If he hates killing, than why do so much of it? Sheesh, you're like talking to a brick wall.

  • @humanistheart When you use the word (than) and the word (then) you need to understand the difference between the two. If you don't know the difference between the word (then and than) how is it possilbe that you know anything? Sorry to correct you on the grammer. You have been polite by not using vulgar language. Thanks for that. Use the word than when you compare things. Example: Bill is taller than Joe. Use the word then when you refer to time or sequence of events. I hope this helped!

  • @kimkerchner You don't even know your own religion and you're going to try to correct me? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • @humanistheart Religion does not save people for eternal seperation from God. Being a good person does not save people from eternal seperation from God. Christ alone is the only one who saves people from hell and grants eternal life. Turn to Him now while you still have life. Soften your cold heart and ask God to help you understand His ways. Ask Him for faith. Faith is a gift of God not something you can do for yourself. Pray to God for faith. This is where you need to start. Hebrews 11-6

  • @humanistheart Yes, God hates sin. There is a big differnce between killing and murder. God is not a murderer. God kills everyone. God gives everyone life and takes the life. God does not murder. There is big difference between the two. God allows man to die because of sin. Man's sinful nature kills ourself. God made man perfect. But when Adam sinned, God told Him not to eat or he would surely die. Man took control of himself as you control yourself and do what you want, not what God wants.

  • @kimkerchner Genocide is banned in every civilized country in the world. We obviously have outgrown the primitive dessert god the hebrew people dreamed up.

"Yes, God hates sin." At least try to keep up. YOU said god HATES sin, and sin is nothing more than what he doesn't want at the moment. Yet, IF something is a sin, say killing, than yes, your god sins as he kills A LOT. Sheesh, brick wall.

  • @humanistheart Try to remember the then and than lesson from our earllier emails. It's hard to follow you, if you can not articulate. By the way a dessert god is a pastry like some sweet dish. And a desert god is a god in a barren land. Are you talking about a sweet tasting god or a god where there is alot of sand? If God doesn't touch your heart, at least your learn a little about english language.

  • @humanistheart When will you read Romans 1:17-32. It is important that you read this, because it will clear things up quickly.

God never wanted sin. God can kill if God wants to kill. God does not murder. Do you understand the difference? God gave man standards to live by. If man lived by the standards, man would not die. Sin causes death. God allows death. God however, never murders. Man murders, Satan murders, God kills. There is a huge difference. You just don't get it.

  • @kimkerchner "God never wanted sin."

No shit, as we've already said, many, many times sin is just whatever the nameless one doesn't like at the moment. The unwanted.

"Sin causes death" Which is immoral. You did something I don't like so you die. It's not legal in any civilized human society, so as I said, we're way better than your god.

"God however, never murders." Again, see GENOCIDES AND INFANTICIDES.

  • @humanistheart Freind, please try to refrain from the language. I don't want to be the reason you sin. Where did you come up with this stuff about God not liking sin at the moment. He doesn't want anyone to sin. But we do.

If there is a law that you don't like, is it ok to break the law? If you break the law and face a judge. You will be punished. God's standards are so much higher than the standards of society. You have a shallow understanding of God's standards.

  • @kimkerchner What don't you get about this? Sin is nothing more than what your 'god' doesn't like at the moment. IF killing is a sin, than your god has sinned a lot. Seriously what don't you get about that?

"If there is a law that you don't like, is it ok to break the law?" Ask the slaves who were helped to escape by the criminal underground railroad. If a law is immoral, you should break it. And your god is immoral.

  • @humanistheart Not talking about immoral laws. I am talking about God's laws, not the one's you have found.

  • @humanistheart Because of your shallow understanding of sin, you have no respect for God or His standards and don't like anyone telling you what to do. You are the center of your universe. You are your own god. You set the standards and if you break them, you simply justify or change them to fit your selfish life-style. Sorry friend, you are really lost and ignorant. Your heart is cold and hard. Your dead spiritually. Please rethink what you have learned or been taught. Your building is on fire

  • @kimkerchner You're last paragraph was more of your brainwashed ramblings.

  • @humanistheart Best wishes to you friend.

  • @humanistheart Sorry, if you think I am a brick wall, but you have never told me if you read Romans 1:17-32. Why do you avoid this? If you don't have a bible, just google it or borrow your neighbors bible. I already explained why God orders the destruction of man. You did not heard it because your blind. I gave the analogy of the dog that bites his master. You just did not understand the analogy. I seem to be throwing pearls before swines. Now who is the brick wall?

  • @kimkerchner "Why do you avoid this?"

It has no bearing on anything. Why do you avoid that your 'perfect good' nameless god commits mass genocide and infanticide, and allows slavery and rape?

"I already explained why God orders the destruction of man." You try to justify genocide? Okay Hitler, do you even think you should be allowed to live in public? You should be locked away.

  • @humanistheart Sorry, God is not nameless. His name is Jesus Christ. Like I said before, God kills everyone because man has sinned. When God gives the law and man goes against it, how can man blame God. God said, in Genesis 3. Do not eat from the tree in the center of the garden or you will die. God built man to live forever, set the rules, then Satan decieved Eve, and Adam was decieved as well. Both ate and both died as a result. If man did not sin, God would not have had to die.

  • @kimkerchner Than you'd just say jesus not 'god'. Also, he's not a Christ. Christ is a translation of what we know as messiah, and Jesus didn't fulfill the messianic prophecies. How about when 'god' breaks the law man gives? Like committing mass genocide. You never answered by what right your nameless god commands.

  • @humanistheart How many lessons do you need on the then and than lesson? You got it backwards, just like your understanding of God. Everything you have said is exactly backwards and opposite of the truth. You just don't see because you are blind to truth. You love to believe lies that reinforce your own selfish, personal beliefs. You chose to reject God, and God allows you to reject Him. God does not usually stop us from making wrong choices. You have chosen independance and seperation from Him.

  • @kimkerchner "because you are blind to truth"

You have beliefs, not truth. You're brainwashed.

  • @humanistheart Sorry, you have brainwashed yourself, with your false beliefs and poor understanding of God. I understand how you must feel about me. You can't imagine how someone could believe as I do. Christians all seem stupid to you. To the world we will be hated. They hated Jesus too. Your worldly wisdom is foolishness to God.

  • @kimkerchner Nope, I already explained the difference between belief and fact. YAWN.

You're most of the world, so how can the world hate you? LOL, the fact is that was added to scripture AFTER the romans and the jews rejected jesus. Nothing unexpected or prophetic about that when's it's written in hindsight. It's called education kiddo, get one and you can know this too.

  • @humanistheart OK, Thanks for the chat.

  • @humanistheart Your life without God, looks like freedom to you, but look more closely. There is no worse slavery than the slavery to sin. Remember this, every person either accepts or rejects God. Don't be fooled. When the day comes for God to judge your response to him, no excuses will be accepted. Please begin today to give your devotion and worship to Him.

  • @humanistheart Your the only one who is avoiding things. To understand God and ask me these quesitons, why don't you ask God and let Him speak to your heart. Why don't you read the bible and find out for yourself. The bible is God's Word. It is the way God speaks to people today. Read it and learn about the nature of God. Have a personal relationhsip with Him instead of trying to justify reasons to aviod Him. He is reaching out, but you need to respond. Stop rebelling and turn to HIm.

  • @kimkerchner ", why don't you ask God and let Him speak to your heart. "

You can't ask an imaginary being anything kiddo.

"Why don't you read the bible and find out for yourself. "

You can't read something that doesn't exist.

  • @humanistheart The bible does exist. It is real. It is God's Word which is true and good.

What I say or do will never save you. Only Christ Himself can do this. All I can do is point you out of the burning building. Please consider a change of heart.

  • @kimkerchner No, 'THE' bible does no exist, and its certainly isn't the 'word of god'.

"Only Christ Himself" I've already corrected you on that, there's been no Christ by definition. Please consider an education.

  • @humanistheart Hey, I really did my best to explain the God of the bible. I failed in my attempt to show you God's love for you. All I can say, is this. God died for you and does not want you to perish. You will have no excuses on judgement day, so please respond to this great free gift. The ball is in your court.

  • @humanistheart You really don't want anyone telling you what to do, how to live or behave. You are the center of life itself and will not give God credit for anything and blame God for everything. You have created an image of your own god in your mind and your mind has conviced you that you are correct. Read Romans 1:17-32 This bible verse was written for you. The Word of God is truth. Your video is something you created from your imagination. Either you are right or the Word of God is right.

  • @kimkerchner "Your video is something you created from your imagination. Either you are right or the Word of God is right. "

The hebrew and christian scriptures were created by imagination as well, god's don't really exist kiddo.

  • @humanistheart god's don't exist, but God almighty does exist. Did you ever read Romans 1:17-32? It's really good stuff. What does this bible verse say to you? Come on man, you are searching for answers. Look to the one who man you, and ask Him to soften your heart and open yourself to Him. I can't be the only person who has pointed this out. God doesn't want lip service or someone who acts good. He wants a contrite heart. Go to Him while you can. He died so you could live.

  • @kimkerchner No, you're capital G god, which is like calling a dog Dog by the way, does not exist either.

  • @humanistheart God earns the capitol G. And dog's are dog's. God told Moses that he wanted the people to incline their hearts to fear him- to want to respect and obey him. There is a difference between doing something because it is required and doing something because we want to. God is not interested in forced religious exercises and rule keeping. He wants our hearts and lives completely dedicated to him. If we love Him, obedience will follow.

  • @kimkerchner Calling your god God, is like calling your dog Dog.

  • @humanistheart God is God and my dog is my dog. God reveals his divine nature and personal qualities through creation, even though creation's testimony has been distorted by the fall. My dog is simply a creation of God. I worship the creator not the creation. By you calling God (god), you insult God and place Him at a low level. You show no respect for the Creator as you indicate that your standards are higher than God. You are dilulted and believe your own lies.

  • @humanistheart The kind of love God has for man is the kind where He laid down His life in our place. He took the punishment on the cross for our sins. What is greater than this kind of love? A just God, must punish sinners, but God loved us so much, that He took our sins to the cross and died in our place. That is real love. You are confusing Love with Justice. Justice is one thing and love is something different. God is just and loving at the same time. He gives us all an opportunity to come.

  • @kimkerchner 3) "The kind of love God has for man is the kind where He laid down His life in our place."

Think about that. HE decides we deserve to be tortured, before he ever made us, and you think it's loving that he gives an out from the torment he created in the first place. That is not logical, it's not ethical, it's nothing but stupid immorality. That's not love, it's insanity.

  • @humanistheart God created hell for satan and the demons. God gave man free will to live. Unfortunatly man ( you and me) have rebelled and sinned. Because God is just, He must punish those who have murdered, stolen, and done many other crimes. Sin will not go unpunished. Yet He came to earth as Jesus Christ and died for our crimes. Those who place their turst in Christ alone and repent of their sins will be forgiven. Those who don't will be required to pay for their sins. It's not insanity.

  • @kimkerchner 4) "A just God, must punish sinners, "

No, justice must be applicable to everyone. He doesn't follow his own standards, or any ethical standard, so justice would be him being punished as well. Do what I say or else is not love, it's tyranny.

See my video, god based morality is meaningless.

  • @humanistheart What are you talking about!!! No justice must be applicable to everyone? All have sinned and fallen short of God's standard. God has never sinned. He is holy, good and righteous. There is no tyranny. There is free will. A Christian honors God because God has changed the heart. A Christian has new desires to please God out of gratitude not out of obligation. There is a big difference between the two. Your video is based on a false premise or misunderstanding of God.

  • @kimkerchner "All have sinned and fallen short of God's standard."

The biblical Yahweh fell way short of my standards. He commits mass genocide, infanticide, allows slavery and rape, and so on. Why do you think genocide and raping women is good?!?

  • @humanistheart You are a funny guy. I am laughing about how your standards are above the standards of God. Where do you come up with this stuff? Did you read Romans 1:17-32 yet? To explain how God did things that were written in the Old Testament would take a space longer than 500 characters. Don't belive in yourself so much, give God a little credit for the masterpiece and the brillant humanistheart that He created.

  • @kimkerchner "I am laughing about how your standards are above the standards of God."

Than you are laughing at mass genocide and infanticide, slavery and rape. Please explain to me what you find humorous about genocide, entire people's being wiped out, or women being raped. You are sick.

  • @humanistheart I am a clear thinker. But if you want to take this up a notch, what about all the people God killed by the flood in the day of Noah? What about all the people (150,000) who died everyday by heartattach, stroke, cancer, whatever. Sin is the cause of death and God allows it. That does not make God go away. He is there and He is going to deal with all of us. He knows every thought, action and deed. What will you say to God on judgement day?

  • @kimkerchner "I am a clear thinker" No, your a brainwashed fool who repeats the same crap over and over.

  • @humanistheart Not brainwashed, and not foolish. Nor do I repeat things over and over. I simply became aware of my situation. Understand that there is nothing I can do to make myself right with God and see my need for a Savior. I am sorry for the things I have done in my life to offend God and have asked God thru prayer for forgiveness and asked God to change my heart. Appearantly, He has foregiven me and changed me. I no longer desire to offend God and trust Christ for my eternal life.

  • @humanistheart On judgement day, will you tell God that He has sinned and your standards are above His. If you don't place your trust in Jesus Christ for eternal life, you will be spending eternity in hell if you have sinned. Just because you dismiss this, does not mean it will go away. If a criminal doesn't beleive in the electic chair, that does not make the electric chair go away. God does not want to punish you. He died on your behalf. Trust Christ and you will have life.

  • @humanistheart I have a question for you. If you owned a dog and gave the dog a place to sleep, gave the dog food, took the dog to the vet to make sure the dog was healthy, gave it shelter, toys, took it for walks and gave the dog treats and cared for it and loved it. But the dog did not appreciate your generousity, it would bite you, wet the carpet and growl at you. The dog would attack you and never listened when you called or came. Would you keep the dog or get ride of it?

  • @kimkerchner Dog's aren't sentient beings, there is no comparison.

  • @humanistheart Are you saying dogs are not aware of things or have feelings? Dog's have feelings and are aware of many things. This is an analogy. If the dog analogy does not work, then subsitute it with a person. If your son or daughter, hated you, and turned on you and tried to kill and destroy you, What would you do? God is our Maker. He is the one who are rights over us. It's not the other way around as you like having it. Dog's are sentient beings..

  • @kimkerchner Yeah, you are brainwashed.

"Are you saying dogs are not aware of things or have feelings?" Look up the word sentient, as that is not what it means, and no, dogs are not sentient beings.

"So, what does this have to do with what God does?" Wow you are slow. You talked of parents. YOUR concept of god tell you he cannot be with you if you do even ONE thing he doesn't like, but you call him loving. So I asked you if you'd call it love if your parents did even one thing

  • @humanistheart My analogy of a dog and master was to show you possibly why God must punish sin. If God gives mankind everything and man rejects, hates, and bites back at God, God can get rid of man. And man can get rid of a dog that is mean.

Sentient means aware and also means having or has feelings. Dogs are sentient, as they do have feelings and are aware of things. You indicated that dogs are not setient. You brought the word into the analogy.

  • @kimkerchner "God gives mankind everything" Including genocide, infanticide, slavery and rape. Oh yeah, we should be so grateful.

Dogs aren't sentient, they are not intelligent enough for reasoning, your pathetic analogy is flawed.

  • @humanistheart Because God is holy and good and perfect, he can not tolerate sin. No liar, murders, theifs, blashphmerers will be in heaven. Yet, God gave Himself when He died on the cross. He took our sinful nature, our sins and died on our behalf. He paid the price for our sins. He made a legal transaction to make us right with God. All we are required to do, is trust this sacrifice and repent. My parents are sinners just as I am a sinner. That is why we need a Savior.

  • @kimkerchner "Because God is holy and good and perfect, "

Back to the brainwashing. I've already showed you that good and perfect in no way describes Yahweh, and holy is meaningless.

  • @humanistheart I disagree. You just have a problem with authority and submitting to the Creator. God allows this. I beg you to consider having a change of heart.

  • @kimkerchner Disagree all you like, you're just brainwashed. Let me ask you, who put your 'god' in charge? No one, that's called tyranny.

  • @humanistheart If God has always existed, I guess God Himself would be the person who is in charge. Do you go to work and tell the owner of the company. Hey who put you in charge? Tyranny does not allow free will. God is in charge but He allows free will, we get a choice. The problem is that you don't like the choices. You want to call the shots. Satan didn't like it either. He wanted a higher position than God. So God had to handle it and remove Satan and the demons from heaven.

  • @kimkerchner "If God has always existed, I guess God Himself would be the person who is in charge."

Lol, no part of that follows. I existed before you so I'm in charge? Ha!

"Tyranny does not allow free will." False, tyrants try to end this, but can't. Name one tyrant that eliminated free will. Just like your god, people could choose to defy, and then be punished. By your logic the Germans that hid Jews during the holocaust DESERVED to die, Hitler.

  • @humanistheart I am not surprised that you don't understand God existance from the beginning. It is mind boggling.

Does not sound like you will read Romans 1: 17-32. Howcome?

You called me Hitler again. I don't have a mustach and I can't speak German. Heck I don't even know how to march. I don't call you names. Your being mean and I will not invite you to the ice cream social.

You got some serious issues, not sure my answers helped clear things up. I did my best fellow.

  • @kimkerchner 'the beggining'? And yet you claimed he'd always been, now he had a beggining.

Tell me Hitler, you still haven't told me how you avoid cognitive dissonance. YOU said you don't approve of killing pregnant women, yet your god ordered it. So now is it good or isn't it? You support GENOCIDE.

  • @humanistheart Cognitive dissonance is a big word. Being that I need an education, I may not be able to handle your conflict with your attitude and understanding of God. That will be something God will need to work out with you. Why do you think I am the one who should answer this? I am brainwashed, a brick wall and slow.

How often to you look for answers from people like myself?

Quit messing around and get your on your knees and beg God to forgive you. He is not going to beg you.

  • @kimkerchner "Quit messing around and get your on your knees"

    God's don't exist, we've been over this.

  • @humanistheart If God does not exist, then how is it that He ordered people killed as you have indicated. Which is it? Does not exist or does exist? Based on your logic, it can't be both.

  • @kimkerchner And don't think I didn't notie you avoided the problem. You yourself said you don't agree with slaughtering pregnant women but your god did, yet you call him perfect. How can you possibly not see the problem with that?

  • @humanistheart I have not avoided any of your questions. Sin causes death. These people sinned against God and gives everyone a chance to come and repent. Those who don't must suffer the consequences of their sins against God.

  • @humanistheart How is it that you believe God ordered genoicde when at the same time you don't believe God exisited?

You seem confused. Does God exisit or is God just my imagination? If it's just my imaginaiton then you are saying God did not order genocide. If you say God ordered genoicde then God does exisit and it's not my imagination. You can't have both.

However in your case, you seem to create your own image of god and say what ever you think is right. Beginning does not have three g's.

  • @kimkerchner "How is it that you believe God ordered genoicde when at the same time you don't believe God exisited?"

Within the hebrew scriptures. the character you refer to as 'god' commits genocide, in the same way harry potter within the series defeats Voldemort.

  • @humanistheart Harry Potter is a movie/book and is not real. God is real. I know nothing about Voldemort or the Potter series.

  • @kimkerchner you don't like, then you'd have to be killed by them to get over that fact. That is the christian doctrine. People do things Yahweh doesn't like so he incarnates himself, gets killed, and magically gains the ability to get over from that. It makes perfect sense to those capable of actual thought.

  • @humanistheart Not sure I follow your statement. ( you don't like, then you'd have to be killed by them to get over the fact) I have no idea what this means. So I have no response to this part of the question.

God saw people who were incapable of living to His standards. The invisible God came to earth in the form of man (Jesus Christ). He laid down His life, for the sins of the world. There was no magic in this, just real suffering, real pain, a real death. Your understanding is shallow.

  • @kimkerchner Do you not know your own religion. In christianity, it is believed that because people do things Yahweh doesn't like at the moment he can't be with them, ie let them into heaven. To solve his own personal problem, he comes to earth as 'jesus' and gets killed, which now magically gives Yahweh the ability to get over people doing things he doesn't like. You call is suffering and the like, so what about suffering yourself makes your god a better being?

  • @humanistheart I am not religous and do not consider what my faith religous in any way. Religion has done a great job twisting truth, or mixing truth with error. Many people are confused and religion does not help. I have a basic belief in God. I believe the Bible is the Word of God. I believe Jesus Christ is God in the flesh. I believe man's biggest problem is sin and one day we will all stand before our Creator and be judged. Heaven and Hell will be the place souls spend eternity.

  • @kimkerchner Thus put it in human terms. If your parents, wife, children or friends do something you don't like, by your logic they have to kill you before you can get over it.

  • @humanistheart Ridiculous. You once again have twisted or misunderstood anything I have said. My parents, wife, children and friends have all done things I don't like. As a born agian Christian, I need to forgive them just as Christ has forgiven me for the things I have done against Him and others. If I can't forgive others, how can God forgive me. You seem to have some hang up with killing things. Come on man, your smarter than this. Read Romans 1:17-32, still no response for you.

  • @humanistheart Have you read Romans 1:17-32. This Bible verse should speak directly to you. It talks about intelligent people (like you) who turn to idolatry. Idolatry begins when people reject what they know about God. Instead of looking to him as the creator and sustainer of life, they see themselves as the center of the universe. You have invented "gods" that are convenient projections of your own selfish ideas. You misrepresent God and reverse yourself with God.

  • @kimkerchner "You have invented "gods" that are convenient projections of your own selfish ideas."

A perfect description of all gods, including your nameless demon god.

  • @humanistheart So tell me something? If the God of the Bible does not exist or as you refer to Him as a demon god, and all other gods don't exist, ( I just so happen to agree with the fact that all other gods don't exist). How did you get here? Do you believe nothing created something? Is this where your faith is? Or do you believe in some theory like evlolution or big bang? What is the point of your position? Why would you spend time sharing with me if you don't believe in anything?

  • @kimkerchner "Or do you believe in some theory like evlolution or big bang? "

It's not belief when there is evidence, it's called knowledge at that point. For example it is a belief that the earth is flat, but it is fact that it's round. Also it's spelled evolution.

So hitler, what is it you find good about running a pregnant woman through with a sword, as she screams for her life and the life inside her?

  • @humanistheart Thanks for the spelling correction on evolution. So, you have some evidence of evolution. Do you believe that it is 100% true? Or do you have faith in the men that came up with this theory?

You called me hitler. Careful namecaller. I do not find anything good about running a sword through a pregnant woman. Nor would I suggest you do something like this.

What does this have to do with your faith in man's theory of evolution? Or the big bands from the 1940"s. I mean big bang!!

  • @Hilter"So, you have some evidence of evolution. "

I'll take that as proof you have zero education.

"I do not find anything good about running a sword through a pregnant woman."

Joshua 10:28, Joshua 7:19-26, Joshua 11:21-23, 1 Samuel 14:48 . All genocides, where the Israelite' are ordered to slaughter men, children, women, and yes, pregnant women. If you call Yahweh good, than you are saying this is good. So stop lying, either it's good to kill pregnant women or it's not.

  • @humanistheart Joshua 7:19-26. Achan's entire family was to be stoned along with him so that no trace of the sin would remain in Israel. In our permissive and individualistic culture we have a hard time understanding such a decree, but in ancient cultures it was a common punishment. The punishment fit the crime. Achan had disobeyed God's command to destroy everything in Jericho: thus, everything that belonged to Achan had to be destroyed. Sin has drastic consequences.

  • @kimkerchner "Joshua 7:19-26. Achan's entire family was to be stoned along with him so that no trace of the sin would remain in Israel."

Then perhaps you should have said you don't approve of people being killed unless they do something you or your god don't like. So do you approve of genocide or don't you?

  • @humanistheart I have no problem with God's decisions because He is the Creator of all things. He decides, judges, and saves.

  • @kimkerchner Not good enough. Even if he were real, creating something doesn't give you the right to torture it. But you'd need some morals to know that.

  • @humanistheart Where does it say God tortures people? God created a place for Satan and the demons. The place is hell. It is eternal seperation from God. People earn this seperation when they choose sin and reject the Savior. God is more than fair.

Did you ever read Romans 1: 17-32 ? The verses in this will help in your understanding of God.

  • @kimkerchner "People earn this seperation when they choose sin and reject the Savior. God is more than fair."

Oh for crying out loud. You create a place to torture people, then send them there, and your excuse is well, they deserve it? Okay hitler, whatever you say.

  • @humanistheart Ok, then what should be done with people who murder, rape, steal, lie, terrorize, and torture others. What should be done with people who commit crimes who are permitted to live on this earth. Tell me what happens to those people when they die? Where do they go and what happens to them after they die?

  • @humanistheart God must punish sin, otherwise He would not be a just God. There is consequences for every action, every deed, every thought. We are responsible for the lives we live. But God is fair, He already punished Jesus for the sins of man. Christ paid the price 2,000 years ago. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, everyone who believes in Him wil not persih but have eternal life. God sent Jesus into the world to save it, not condem it. John 3:16

  • @kimkerchner "God must punish sin" Two problems with that. First, why? People should be punished merely for doing what someone else doesn't like? As opposed to doing something wrong? Second, there's a difference between proportional punishment, and eternal punishment. For example, telling even one white lie would in your religion be enough to be tortured for all eternity. Meanwhile your god commits mass genocide and infanticide and gets nothing?

  • @humanistheart Lets say someone broke into your home and killed your mom, dad and they tortured them. Then they were never caught. They die. What happens to those people who did this to your family? I ask why, because I want to try and understand how justice works in your world and the world of eternity. Do you have an answer or more questions to my question?

  • @kimkerchner Nothing happens to them after they die, their dead. In your religion though if they believed in jesus they go to heaven. Not exactly justice or ethics.

  • @humanistheart Believing in Jesus does not get you to heaven. What Christianity is, is trusting in Jesus as the person who died on the cross for my sins. Many people believe in Jesus but they are not born again. Nobody can have eternal life without being born again. Do you know what it means to be born again?

Second. How do you know nothing happens to us after we die? Where do you get this information? Is this something you learned, read, were taught or made up?

  • @kimkerchner No, the general consensus in Christianity is that believing in jesus gets you inot heaven. Some denominations like Catholics add good works, but it's mostly just believing in jesus. 'Born again' philosophies are more a recent addition.

"How do you know nothing happens to us after we die?" We die, the brain stops functioning, and thus the person you were is gone. Nothing else happens.

  • @humanistheart What about that inner part of you? (The soul) Yes your body dies, your brain dies and it all deteriorates. But your soul never dies. It's that part of you that makes you, you.

Most people call themselves Christians, Being "Born Again" has always been part of Christianity. John chapter 3. Catholics do believe in Jesus but also belief they must do good and die without sin in order to go to heaven. Yes the Catholic religion does teach truth, but mixes with works (this diminished JC

  • @kimkerchner "(The soul) "

    Doesn't exist.

  • @humanistheart Just because you say the soul or the spirit does not exist, does not mean that it does not. Keep in mind that by me saying the soul or spirit exists does not mean that it does. We both can't be right. One of us is wrong. The Word of God says it exisit. So using the Word of God as the authority, I defer to the Word. Please refer me to your source that the soul or spirit does not exist?

  • @humanistheart Just for the record, can you tell me if you are an atheist, agnostic, or something else? From what I gather, you don't believe God exists. You don't believe Jesus Christ existed nor is God in the flesh. You don't believe in life after death. You do believe in evolution or the big bang. Correct me on this. (You believe nothing created something) ( I believe something (God) created everything) We both can't be right. Please help me out with this.

  • @kimkerchner I've noticed you completely failed to address my point. YOU CLAIMED YOU FORGIVE JUST LIKE 'GOD'. Yet for him to forgive he has to die and come back to life. Did you or did you not die and come back to life after 2 days?

  • @humanistheart Jesus Christ died on the cross. He rose from the dead and is now seated at the right hand of God. As for me, I have not had a physical death. I have had a spiritual re-birth. I have died to the things of this world. My rebirth is dying to myselft and compeltely placing my trust in Christ for forgiveness and salvation. I am still human and still prone to sin. Yet I am saved by faith and trust in the one who died on my behalf. I hope this clears it up for you.

  • @humanistheart Jesus forgave people of their sins when He walked the earth. He healed people, and did many incredible things. His mission was to earth was to die for the sins of mankind, and to save us from the wrath of God. I don't have to die to forgive people. Not sure where you got this. I just need to be able to forgive those as Jesus has forgiven me. Do I get angry--yes sir. do I get mad---yes sir. I am still human and make many mistakes.

  • @kimkerchner ". I just need to be able to forgive those as Jesus has forgiven me."

Then you lie, as that means you have to DIE before you can forgive. Which you KEEP AVOIDING.

  • @humanistheart It is true that people who lie are called liars. I have lied before, and I am a liar. I have however, not lied to you. I have only been up front and truthfull.

Not sure where you get the idea that I must die in order to forgive someone. If someone does something wrong to me. I need to have a forgiving heart. Death is not a prerequisit for me to forgive someone. Where did you come up with this? And what am I avioiding? What is your question? I belive I have answered all of them.

  • @humanistheart Why do you aviod my queston to you. Are you an atheist, agnostic, or some other belief?

  • @humanistheart A common misconception is that you must belive in God to go to heaven. Jesus said, many call my name. Lord, Lord, but He will respond, I never knew you. It's about a personal relationship with Christ. Hey, I believe in Satan but I am not going to hell because I believed Satan is a fallen angel. People are saved by faith alone, by Jesus Christ alone. Having faith in Jesus and believing in Jesus are two seperate things.

  • @humanistheart Let me further explain the difference between faith and believing in something. I can believe a parachute will help me land safely if I just out of a plane. But unless I am wearing one when I jump is when it will truly help. If I jump without a parachute and believe a parachute will land me safe, I will most likely die upon impact. Christ is the parachute. You need to wear it rather than simply say. I believe and live a life totally in opposition. Do you see where I am going here

  • @humanistheart God punishes sin because it is wrong to do bad, hurtful and evil things. You have a shallow understanding of sin. We are not talking about the one person who committed only one white lie. We are talking about YOU. How many lies have you told? Have you ever taken something that does not belong to you. Have you ever used the Lord's name in vain? Have you ever disobeyed your parents? This is not about other people. We are talking about you. How should you be punished for your sins?

  • @kimkerchner "God punishes sin because it is wrong to do bad"

Sin is not the same as bad, as we've already discussed sin is just whatever Yahweh didn't like at the moment, and all the things he didn't like he did himself.

  • @humanistheart Give me an example of being bad. Because sin and being bad kinda go hand in hand. Then give me example of sin. I am not sure these two are different. I am anxious to hear what seperates sin and being bad.

If a person pre-meditates a crime like murder, is the person sinning or being bad? I suggest both. The person is a sinner and a bad person. This person certainly falls short of God standards.

  • @kimkerchner No, sin and bad sometimes overlap, but they are in now way the same thing. For example, being homosexual is not immoral in any way shape or form, but it's a sin in your religion. Not yelling out loudly enough while your being raped is a sin in hebrew scripture, but that's not considered immoral by any means.

"If a person pre-meditates a crime like murder, is the person sinning or being bad? "

Bad yes, sin depends. If they're homosexual you are supposed to kill them

  • @humanistheart I think you are really confused. When Jesus Christ came, a new covenant was made by God with man. Jesus's death on the cross replaced the law. For those who trust in Christ, new laws were written. They are written on our heart. The new testament never commands anyone to kill.

If the bible is God's Word and the authourity, it does say that homosexuality is immoral and it is a sinful act. No different than other sins like lying, murcer, theivery, adultry, blashpheme. Sin is sin.

  • @kimkerchner "Jesus's death on the cross replaced the law. "

Think about that. That means that what was once bad, is no longer bad, which means morality in your religion changes.

"it does say that homosexuality is immoral and it is a sinful act."

Old law, by your claim. But you avoid the issue. You asked for an example of sin not being wrong, homosexuality is one. Also not yelling loud enough while being raped.

  • @humanistheart The law has two functions. On the positive side, it reveals the nature of and will of God and shows people how to live. On the negative side, it points out people's sins and shows them that it is impossible to please God by trying to obey all his laws completely. Go's promise to Abraham dealth with Abraham's faith; the law focuses on actions. The covenant iwth Abraham shows that faith is the only wasy to be saved; the law shows how to obey God in grateful response.

  • @kimkerchner "The covenant iwth Abraham shows that faith is the only wasy to be saved;"

Funny because previously you said believing, which is faith, is not the requirement for heaven. Interesting.

  • @humanistheart People are saved the same way today that they were before the birth of Christ. You are saved by faith. And there is a big difference between beliveing and faith. Many people belive in God but few have faith in God. Many people go to church and believe in God, but those same people may not have faith in God. Heck, I believe in satan, but I have no faith in satan. I wil expalin on another reply where I have more characters remaining.

  • @kimkerchner " People are saved the same way today that they were before the birth of Christ. You are saved by faith."

There has been no christ, so that makes no sense. And the hebrew people have never in their history had a concept of 'salvation through faith', so that's blatanetly false.

  • @humanistheart My information comes from the bible. If you claim there has been no christ, where do you get this information? What is your source? How can your information be trusted?

  • @kimkerchner " My information comes from the bible" False, you cannot get something from something that does not exist.

Look up the word messiah, look up the messianic prophicies. You'll find as the jewish people concluded that jesus did not fullfill the messianic prophicices. If someone can be a messiah without fullfilling them you might as well call me a messiah then.

  • @humanistheart Your logic says this. The jewish people conclude Jesus did not fullfill the messianic prophicies therefore He was not the Messiah. They were wrong. They were looking for a kin, a ruler, a leader, someone to conquer the Roman empire. They were terribly mistaken. Jesus mission 2,000 years ago was to come and die. He laid down His own life. Many people think He was killed by Pontius Pilot, the jews, and many others. Jesus laid down His life on His terms. He will return.

  • @humanistheart Satan is the father of lies. Do you believe Satan? You seem to have been surrounded by lies. If you studied the theory of Evolution and were honest with yourself, you can see that it's a lie. Atheism, Satan and Liar are a common denominator. Being an atheist is intellectual suicide. Anyone who uses his God given brain to think, knows this. Your not a simpleton, yet believing in evolution makes me questions your intellect.

  • @humanistheart Friend, please youtube Messianic prophecies. A fellow by the name Randall Niles did the work already. He pulled 40 of the over 300 prophecies. They all point to Jesus Christ. Check it out for yourself. Seems like the odd of someone fullfilling all these prophecies are too astronomical to calculate. But evidence shows that Jesus Christ indeed was the Son of God. It takes some great faith to not believe all this. Christ will return to fullfill the rest of them.

  • @humanistheart Faith and Belief are different. Lets say your on a plane and the engines quit and the plane is going down. Lets also assume you have the option of a parachute. You know the parachute will help you land safely. Believing the parachute will help you will, will not help you unless you put it on and use it. Jesus Christ is the parachute. When you put Him on you know He will help you land safely. Just saying I believe in the parachute does little good. (Not sure this analogy worked)

  • @humanistheart Faith does not annul the law, but the more we know God, the more we see how sinful we are. Then we are driven to depend on our faith in Christ alone for our salvation.

  • @humanistheart Have you studied the New Testament in your Religious studies? If you read 1 Corinthians 6: 9-11. It explains who will have no share in the Kindgom of God? This verse lists just about every sin ( sexual sin, idol worshipers, adulterers, male prostitiutes, homosexuals, thieves, greedy people, drunkards, abusers and swindlers).

none will share in the kingdom of God.

JC took these sins to the cross. Those who trust in Christ and repent will share in teh kingdom of God.

  • @humanistheart You like to mix the little bible knowledge you have with religion. Let's be clear on this. Rape is bad. Rape is a sin. It is riduclous to think that if you are being raped and you don't yell loud enough that it is a sin. God must deal with all sin and can not let it go un-punished. There are consequences for all our actions. There will be judgement and punishment for crimes against God. Not believing this does not make God, or judgement go away. Physical death only ends life here.

  • @kimkerchner Anyway, you contradict yourself. You claim that it's not a sin to not yell out while being raped but the scripture YOU believe in says otherwise. I guess you just pick and choose what you want from it?

  • @humanistheart Those who were trying to be saved by keeping the Old Testament law were soon tied up in rules and ceremonies. But now, throught the Holy Spirit, God provides freedom from sin and condemnation. When we trust Christ to save us, he removes our heavy burden of trying to please him and our guilt for failling to do so. By trusting Christ we are loved, accepted, forgiven and freed to live for him. New laws are inwardly written on our hearts and mind. Not rules and rituals.

  • @humanistheart That is odd, I was just thinking the same about you picking certain verses and twisting them to fit your idology, or misunderstanding the meaning or trying to use the verse to justify your lifestyle. I guess you just pick and choose what you want from it.

The only contradictions so far have been in your understanding of the Bible and God. God does not contradict. People misunderstand the bible then accuse God of contradictions. When the veil lifts, your eyes will be open

  • @humanistheart You try to justify your life based on what you think God has done. Because God destroyed the world with a flood or ordered peopled killed, not knowing the mind of God you now decide the moral standards you live by. You then justify your sin by pointing to things God has done. How do you justify what Jesus did on the cross? He died for your sins, but you refuse to acknowledge this kind act of grace and rebel against a God who loves you. Read Romans 1: 17-32. It's will talk to you.

  • @kimkerchner "But God is fair, He already punished Jesus for the sins of man. "

No part of that is fair. And again, jesus is not a christ, look up the word.

  • @humanistheart If Jesus is not the Christ, then who died on the cross 2,000 years ago. Who rose from the dead afterh being enclosed in the tomb? Who was that person 2,000 years ago that did miracles, feed 5,000 people and made blind people walk. Was it nobody. or God.

  • @kimkerchner Many, many people died on a cross 2000 years ago. It was the romans method of choice and they controlled the largest empire at the time. This however has NOTHING to do with a christ.

"Who was that person 2,000 years ago that did miracles, feed 5,000 people and made blind people walk. "

No one, that never actually happened.

  • @humanistheart There were eyewitnesses who documented Jesus's walk and crucifixton. Yes there were others who died on the cross 2,000 years ago, but none where sinless, none were God. Jesus was crucifed as He laid down His life for us. How is it, that you can say it never happened. Are you saying the bible, and records are lies and falsehoods? Are you sure? What makes you think you are correct?

  • @kimkerchner "There were eyewitnesses who documented Jesus's walk and crucifixton. "

Take a history class, you'll find that's not remotely true.

"Are you saying the bible, and records are lies and falsehoods? " We've beeen over this, 'the bible' doesn't exist, and there are no such records.

  • @humanistheart I have taken history classes. They teach history, not that Jesus Christ did not exist. Not sure what history class you have taken.

History does not prove anything anyway. It's faith, not history books. Faith is a gift from God.

  • @kimkerchner By all means then show these historical sources.

  • @humanistheart Lets start with the bible. All scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right. It is God's way of preparing us in every way, fully equipped for every good thing God wants us to do.

  • @kimkerchner "Lets start with the bible. All scripture is inspired by God "

There is no such thing as 'the bible' so false premise.
