  • @RONPAULPATRIOT44 The music is just PERFECT! Can s.o. tell me the artist ?

  • I like that song!

  • clinch knot is what i use for all my lures cause it never seems to fail me

  • very nice i'm going to fish in 3 hours thanks!

  • excelent noeuds

  • Sweet

  • Trilene Knot is better technique on jighead...

  • From my experience the trilene knot is one of the best if not the best knot! However it needs to wrap about 6 times with the twist not 3 as pictured for strength :) I know a guide that use to use that use to use knot number 4 where the loop goes around the hook, after I showed him my trilene knot he switched. :) happy fishing

  • @ryanrrx cool idea i saw another video with that know calling it the blood knot how do you say this name couse dont know how to say it

  • @saur2244 you say it try-leane' basically if you can sound that spelling out,how ever its spelled trilene like the fishing line, the blood knot is for perfect strength and fusion of 2 pieces of line, however a bolan will suffice with rope, i have tied a blood knot in a 365 fathom tow line for seine fishing net and it worked ! i did not trust a bolan to hold the net together! the net was pulling so many tons its not even funny, plus hundred thousand pounds of salmon in the net when we finished!!

  • The guitar chops are right on the money...

  • I linked my survival fishing kit to your video, good job...sweet and simple.

  • Awesome!

  • Thanks man your videos are really helpful!

  • No prob man, if you would like to return the favor check out my foundation. Its a win win for everyone!

  • the first knot i used all the tiem, its the only knot i use really..

  • great music what is that from pleeeeeze

  • started tying the palomar knot years ago...never stopped. very strong and sturdy...and very very simple and fast. no need to go to anything else. if you fly, or need a leader like fluorocarbon, learn the uni to uni, or the blood knot. can't go wrong with either one. my bets are on the palomar and uni to uni...can't beat 'em.

  • thanks that has help me a lot thanks

  • I learnt the clinch and stuck to that ever since, Is there very much more value in switching to a different knot or should i just stick to the clinch. I havent had any breaks except for a pickerel that bit through my line (I use a leader now lol)

  • no shoelace knot ;)

  • Thx man, yep this is the song!

  • Very handy information.

  • To me this looks complicated

  • tankz man :>

  • awesome tune, please brotha, tell me the name of the song and player,please.........this devil`s guitar gives me a creeps...

  • awesome tune, please brotha, tell me the name of the song and player,please.........

  • what about the fish-n-fool? great knot and super easy to tie

  • traducción del español al inglés

excellent video ... very good music .. who is the interpreter? thank you very much!

  • watch?v=8OQJ4UrAVJw

has to be worth a visit?

  • Im a noob, but I really wanna know, why cant we just use dead knots for everything?

Like, when and why should we use these different knots?

  • Knot strength line type and lure presentation. Most anglers prefer to learn one knot and stick to it. If your going to do that I would suggest learning the Palomar do to its strength and versatility.

  • @InformativeFisherman Ok, thank you sir

  • @lerlo Loop Knots for Lures so they swim better, and almost any knot is ok for your hook/swivel.

See my page for knots & fishing videos. -Capt Jesse

  • what song is this?!

  • Some bad ass tunes for some bad ass knots! lol

  • tu Red social de la pesca Deportiva busquen en google elrebalaje

  • Hey what song and artist is that playing for the music... I love it.. I want to use that for my Fishing Tv Show

    Thanks

    anglinadventures tv

  • hihow is it going.. i0m just a novice at that wanna lern how to fish ..... so wanna thank the post XD if u could help me more with kind of rope or material o etc... would be more helpful

  • @WeakChopper DUDE>>> relax................. the author has obviously changed the music..

it used to be shitty Evernescence ..or watever they call themselves, that stupid song "BROKEN" or something or rather...

  • informative, really liked the music.

  • I usually use a surgeon's loop. Most people don't recommend it, but it hasn't failed me yet. the line breaks before the knot breaks. And once my rod broke, but left the knot intact (i was vertical-jigging in about but i snagged something on the bottom and it ended with my rod breaking. eventually i got the line up and the knot was intact.

  • couldn't take the music. just awful.

  • Trilene is good too

  • thanks i learned alot

  • Gracias por la explicacion! soi nuevo en esto =)

  • Is the Palomar a good fishing knot? Like a real good one? I understand they're all fishing knots, but the palomar is the first one I've been able to do and remember.

  • It is considered by most to be the best!

  • @CrunchieDan I think is the best since you hold the hang with two strings

  • @CrunchieDan I use the hangman to hang people

  • muchas gracias tenia que anudar una plomada y tu explicacion me vino al pelo

  • love the song and the video....puts one in relaxed learning mode, cool stuff!

  • I think that the trilene knot works best for spoon lures. Am i right ?

p.s thumbs up for the Soundtrack

  • Please change the music to Celine Dion...J/K

  • The first knot is what I've always known as a Tucked Half Blood Knot.

  • @theplanetking i also thought that it was called a blood knot

  • muy ilustrativo grcias

  • I like how we get into fights over what music was put in the video. Why cant we just appreciate the fact that this person took time out of their day to make this video? And it does somewhat help.

  • great video this has really helped me THX LOADS!!

  • the trilene knot works best for me...

with the clinch knot, i can't get the knot to tighten around the eye of the hook, it just tightens up top

for the palomar, i can't figure out how you got from step 1 to step 2, and after that how you got step 3, i need a palomar knot for dummies

  • @jumar1281

" knot " very bright are you?

Best knot for eyed hooks is the tucked ( clinched ) half blood knot..couldn't be easier.

  • @jumar1281 the diagram for the palomar (step 1) is wrong. Thread the line from the hook side of the shank.

  • Great illustratiions! Keep up the good work.

  • good video...but i must comment that.....Emo/goth.....music is NOT appropriate/necessary for this video

  • @eeiko321 This is not emo/goth music i dont think you know what it really is

  • @UARAF16 Evenescence is EMO of goth, ENOUGH...

  • @seiko321 Go search "emo" in the dictionary, above anything it's an abbreviation for emotional. All music is emotional and if it weren't nobody would like it. Goth on the other hand isn't even a music genre, it is a style/fashion. So learn your shit you ignorant fuck!

  • @eeiko321 It's acoustic guitar... where the hell did you get emo/goth?

  • whats the song called its beast :)

  • thx.

  • @LiZad2323 Evanescence -Bring me to life

  • watch muted only!!!

  • Wow, the Palomar looks more complicated than the clinch, but I find it much easier to tie and tighten without messing up the line. Thanks for the options!

  • Thanks that was useful. :)

  • how to I attach a slpit weight thing to my line?

  • @Rohan4basu Unless you have insanely strong hands, all you WILL need are a pair of pliers/pincers and the weight itself to put on the line. Hold the weight with one hand, grab the closed part and place that inside the pliers without squeezing the splitshot. Now, while keeping the weight in place, grab the line and make a section taught enough to attach the open "Pac-Man" section of the weight onto the line. Squeeze it on, but don't damage the line. Make sure it moves up & down w/o falling off.

  • muy bueno capoooooooooooooo

  • This is the worst video music ever.

  • @JGatz83 Agreed

  • excuse me but the music does really not go well with the video but still good song.

For the people who are wondering the name of the song: save me

  • @hackum67 you best be trollin man.

the songs title is "bring me to life" by Evanescence.

thanks for the video btw, its fantastic.

  • very nice h check out my video if you want thanks. mike t.

  • bad music

  • ...

    Super good video.

  • I like the double improved clinch never had a bait or lure slip bass never pulled the knot apart .. its worked very well for me ... if im baitfishing for cats i like to use a hangman

  • lol song made me laugh XD. very informative though. personally, i use a modified snell thats more resemblant to a hangman's (hangman's over shank basically) and then palomar several times above it for extra hooks, usually a larger hook at the bottom with a larger bait, so if ya hook on with a toothy monster on light lb test (which in my experience=lost hook) it usually trails the smaller hooks behind and when ya hook up you get 2 or 3 in its sides!

  • i use the polomar knot too. Remember to get it wet before u tighten it. Also u can ADD more hooks above the last one. So u can just add hooks anywhere at anytime.

  • i love that song

  • Muchas gracias por la musica.

  • i've been using some form of the clinch since I was very young....usually a standard clinch knot...but sometimes an improved clinch or a 7 turn lubed clinch if I really don't wanna lose a lure or I'm using a light lbtest...I recommend those usually because they're very easy and return anywhere from 95-100% of your line strength

  • un video genial tio sigue asi

  • Gracias. pesca buena suerte...

  • muy buen video siempre perdia mi anzuelo o le hacia un nudo raro grasia

  • what knot do you personally use? the polomar?

  • You nailed it!

  • @InformativeFisherman Kind of surprised the Rapala Knot isn't listed here. I'm a beginner myself, but I thought it was supposed to be really good for lures that are supposed to move. Do you ever use it yourself and is it as good as I've heard or is someone pulling my leg? :P

  • Some real helpful info

  • Thanks for sharing this video.

  • THX DUDE

  • Welcome bro!

  • i know this song by the way good vid

  • wow thanks

  • Anytime...

  • its called a uni knot knot the hang mans knot and you can use it to tie line to line with double uni knot

  • Thank you for the video. Going fishing for the first time this weekend and am glad I'll be leaving home with some knowledge. Thanks again!

  • Let me know how it goes... Best of Fishing!

  • Unfortunately, we didn't catch any fish, but we still had a good time at Detroit Lake. Take care.

  • i love the clinch its easy and tough but i lose it sometimes so i do it twice and its strong. thank you add me =)

  • Song???

  • by evanescence forgot the name though sorry =(

  • Call Me when your Sober - Evanescence

  • pls do a palomar vid this is not clear

  • Try the link I placed at the end of this video. I have very shaky hands so close ups on knots are hard to see lol...

  • the second knot you show is called a uni, not a hangman

  • i was confused with the diagram on how to tie a palomar knot.....could u upload a vid on how to tie a palomar knot?

  • yea same! that's a really bad diagram

  • thank god i found more knots to use besides the rapala and the berkley they both suck, i have lost so much tackle from using there knots its rediculus

  • What's up with the music?

  • It was this or Celine Dion.....

    ;) J/K

  • I'm not sure why people use anything other than a palomar unless they want a loop. It's simpler and stronger than all the competition, unless of course, you need a loop.

  • Unless I'm fishing top water or spinner baits palomar is the knot for me too....

  • palamor knot is the strongest it is a fact

  • people often use palomar difrent ways like i make sure the line is clear off the kook instead of holding onto the hook

  • 1:20 is best knot ever

  • palamor is the best for fresh water...i cought a 6 pound bass and it was still on good

  • The snell knot looks a little funny to me, I only put it through the eye of the hook once and it still works well.

  • I prefer the clinch knot.

  • thanx 4 the yip although im nt guna rate it cuz if i had used a normal knot the hook knot wouldnt have held and i wouldnt have gon head first into the water... lol i h8 pikes!

  • Better set that drag... lol

    Best of Fishing

  • güat de jel ar yu seilling???

  • thanks for very valuable lessons. i love it and simple for to understand.

  • Cool thanks, I know most of these but can't hurt to learn the others.

  • what song is this?

  • Evanescence - call me when your sober

    Best of Fishing....

  • i personally like the hangman. really strong. makes ure you lube the line with spti if using flouro

  • the hook works i tried it

and caught a 45 pound carp

  • hey thanks alot that realy helped espcialy along with grog's fishing knots :) im pro at trilene now :)

  • this is really useful.. after half year of not fishing.. i forgot all my knot.. till i watch diz.. its easier than the one i know last time.. thx.. =) Fishing Rocks..

  • very useful. Not sure about the soundtrack, but the info is good!

  • Lol yeah I was listning to that at the time of tossing the video together.. I only add music over the ends of most of my videos,,, Best of Fishing
