there's nothing wrong with pot itself. I would never smoke around kids, or even talk about it around kids. it's not different from alcohol or anything else. used in moderation, and at the right place and time, it's totally acceptable in my eyes, despite the fact that it's still illegal. people run into problems with it, but that's not the pot's fault, it's an issue of self control. a smart person will not get carried away because they will realize when they have a problem.

This is an excellent book. PLEASE do not criticize it until you read it. It definitely DOES NOT promote marijuana use for children. I see it as a view similar to sex - it is portrayed as a beautiful wonderful thing that can have much potential and do much good, but can also be used for harm and be used in the wrong way at the wrong time.

My friend (who smokes cannabis privately) who has two small children (6 and 9) read this to her kids and they loved it! And understood it very well.

Well, I have an associate's degree and I'll be going back to school next semester to major in child psychology. I had to take some time off to START MY OWN BUSINESS, which I sold after a year. My point is weed isn't a gateway drug. I have never smoked tobacco and the last drink I had was in 2007.
