I haven't calibrated it (though you shouldn't have to) to see if it gets better. Also I don't know if it's common but if others read this and have this they will post some answers :). I went from a 19CRT Dell to this and even with the backlight bleed i'll never go back to the later.
Well i`ve seen the other videos and the backlight bleeding has been reduced, but you still see it?

Check out my Oblivion video it doesn't have the bleed through after minor adjustments

I have it, and I don't have anything like what you see in this video, to me it's entirly the same brightness all the way on all edges (in black)
