@Sonicthehedgehog73 I've met my fair share of rage though. I explained to someone that Alien was my favorite SYL album, and by extension my favorite Devin album. The guy said "Alien is crap, and their best album is SYL", and when I tried to explain my case, he got so pissed that he said "I NEVER LIKED ALIEN AND I NEVER WILL". To be fair, I give respect to all of Devin's albums, despite finding some of them to be quite boring, because he puts a lot of effort into his work.

@Bassbait I do like Alien. A lot. It has many of my favourite songs on there (Shitstorm, Love? and We Ride stand out, for me.) however, I find that I enjoy The New Black more overall. The mixing on Alien is superior, though. SYL is nice, although mixing is fairly sloppy. Relentless, Rape Song, Aftermath... so many classics on there. But The New Black and Alien are my favourite SYL albums. I also dig Deconstruction and Ziltoid. Addicted rocks, too.

@obviouslypepsi Alien is great. I think The New Black is too incoherent. It felt like Devin didn't know quite what he wanted to do. Many songs off that album feel like they belong in his solo work. Alien is the most "SYL" of all of his albums. It sums up the band best. It's also my favorite musically, lyrically, production-wise and artistically. It's a genius album that happens to be crazy.
