hmmm, the first film 'the cat' clearly stands out for it's superior sense of storytellin...perhaps ther cud hav been close-up shots of frantic scrawlin on bits of cardboard & maybe endin with 'camera' simply turnin & walkin away...but that's just me...the candle one reminded me of an old story of nasrudin searchin under the streetlamp for his housekeys after losin them in the bushes - 'why are you lookin for them here?' a passer-by asked - 'because there's more light here...' he replied
