so the guy around 10:30 mark ... i cant remember who he is but i saw him win a big extended tourney a while back but i totally disagree with him. he basically said that faeries arnt really that good once you take away the bitterblossom and the mutavault ... well no shit, dragonstorm wouldnt have been so good last year if you took away the knoll, swath, and lotus bloom either. ... he just sounds like a retard when he basically says, when you take out the best cards of the deck it basically sucks!

Merfolk is like 80/20 against faeires because it plays too many threats and it has countermagic aswell to keep their bombs in check... Play that math up 5 times and see how amny times merfold wins

if you listen, he would put near infinite bonded fetch triggers on the stack letting him loop root and command, then hard cast pris lens, and over and over, eventually getting infinite blue, green, and red mana, to play careful consideration for a lot

Normally I find the show less-than-stellar and mostly only watch it to see if there is a pro or two with something interesting to say because most of the show is tailored to the less-good magic players out there. However, this episode was thoroughly awesome. I'm ramped up for part two!

Chapin has always struck me as different from other Magic players. Him dressing up at World's was pretty classy of him, in my book. Frankly, I'm a little tired of our hobby/sport? being represented by rumpled guys in crinkled casual wear. Furthermore, he has something which I daresay is akin to a personality. Instead of being as interesting as oatmeal, which is not to say that ALL pros are (just the majority that are presented), he's actually as interesting as... ... maybe a Chia pet? :)

If every magic player that got into Top 8s showed their personality like Chapin does, it would take off as an entertainment form like poker. Unfortunately too many players act like they have absolutely no emotion or personality when they're on camera so it's boring as heck to watch :(
