I served on board the Tarawa during her second and third Westpac. I'm glad to see her still in service. I'm also very proud of the young men and women who took up the mantle and are serving in the Navy and Marines.

Glad to see still looks good. I was on her in the early 80's. A Marine amphib unit. 1St Marine Brigade.
