Some of us are handy enough and have friends handy enough to pull it off. Our friend that welded it, charged my cousin $200 to weld it. It would have been $400, but he wrote off half for advertizing and his buisness name is on the hood. You can talk stupid all you want, but he did such a great job welding, it never needed to be line bored. I may have exagerated. He might have $800 in it at the very most. It don't hurt that we had all the parts on hand. So to you sir, "Bite me"!

The only way you can tell where it's welded is run your hand along the bottom. A friend of ours did the welding. The man is an artist with a welder! The only real trouble is it vibrates pretty bad.
