if that was the case... why are both sides lifting about the same, I'd understand if the torque was twisting the chassis and it was raising on one side... but both sides equally? That's not torque.
But still... It wouldn't be lifting equally even if the pins and hinges were flexing with the body, I've seen insane torque chassis twisting before, it doesn't do it like that.

yes a charger is roomyer because thats the style of 60s american cars the supra is a modern grand tourer not a box with seats and an engine, both cars a lovely also drag strips in japan are horrible to say best there lumpy and have barly any rubber build up oposed to yank ones which are flat and have had atleast 50 years build up helping in traction, also stock supras run 13 sec with 320 hp while chargers run 12s with 400 plus and have soft suspension and walled tyres wich suit drag racing

doing this will not always increase acceleration, first off there is only so much traction that the tyres will take, it will not increase HP to the back wheels as HP is torque over speed, lowering speed and increasing torque will give the same HP. Lowering the ratio will also mean possibly more gear changes and (depending on power delivery) unsuable short speed ranges in the gears.
maybe you could get a muscle car to be this quick for 5 grand ...but i doubt it, and i suspect a muscle car with only 5 grand spent on it to make any seriouse horse power would be lucky to last 5 minutes and it still would`nt go around corners like a Supra.
yea fast tuner cars like this require over 100k in mods... and thats only for about 1000hp maybe. after youve spent 10k just in mods on a tuner car a stock 5k muscle car will still beat it.

dude this car is so far from ur budget its pathetic. lets see, probably a 20k dollar sequential tranny cuz he wasnt shifting a H pattern. the supra isnt the only car u can do this to. not to mention its not that great looking. this specific supra has so much shit done its pathetic. after spending almost 100+k into a supra, id rather own a car thats sick from the factory... like some lambo or something more credible. im not dissin supras im just saying

I guess I'll have to put my foot in my mouth on that one (although the harness/seats may not be DOT or NHTSA approved)...but you would have to be very skilled to have this car as a daily driver, it's not like anybody could handle it.

That's because it is. That's what many people don't understand about drag racing. They just think "Oh, just drive in a straight line - ooooh so hard!" But it actually requires a lot of skill. But yeah it is pretty hard to control.

the chasis doesnt deform... its called lots of boost... this creats pressure... hints the reason they make vented hoods... there not always for looks

LOL no its the chassis or possibly fibreglass bonnet deforming. They make vented bonnets to suck heat out it has nothing to do with pressure from the turbo.

i love how the engine makes the whole chasis deform, you can see the hood doesn't align when it nears the camera but it did before he launched.

this video is old!!!! and the real hp of that supra was around 1000hp more or less, i saw that video many years ago!! but today its more easy do 9sec in a supra without high modifications!! because more advance parts are develop!! sorry for miy english i hope all yours understand1!!!! xD

na that seems to be in the ballpark of 1500 it ran a 9.84 supras weigh a ton and it takes a lot of hp to really get them to break 11's
