Je trouve que techniquement Travis Barker semble meilleur que Tré Cool. Mais le batteur de Green Day a une meilleure vision de la musique en son ensemble. On n'écoute pas un groupe comme Green Day ou Blink pour entendre une batterie, une voix, une basse... mais pour voir un groupe. Tré sait mettre les pêches là ou il faut ainsi que dynamiser les morceaux grâce à ses breaks quand il en a besoin justement grâce à son jeu de base assez minimaliste. Il joue donc mieux son rôle de batteur que Barker.

Personally I'd say they're just as good as each other. Tre is the perfect drummer for Green Day as is Travis for Blink, +44 etc. They compliment their bands well and I doubt Travis would be better in Green Day or Tre in any of Travis' bands. They're just both great okay! Sure they're not THE GREATEST drummers in the world, because that's open for speculation. However there is no denying that they are both fantastic drummers.

First off, Green Day and Blink-182 are two of my favorite bands. Drumming is completely subjective. in my personal opinion, with listening to both bands for a long time, and listening to the way the songs are written, Travis is a better drummer. The way green day plays, i feel restricts Tre but he is still a fantastic drummer. the thing about travis, is that, there are really no two songs of blinks that the drums are the same, he makes every song as different as possible

Lol, every famous magazine or website (rollingstone, drummerworld)all say that travis is better, and that is from unbiased pov's. I will admit that tre has some awsome drum fills in his songs, especially burnout, but just because travis doesnt put his fills in his songs, doesnt mean he can't do them. Travis has a much better understanding for the world of drumming also, and he incorporates a lot of styles into his drumming, whereas tre is a very very outstanding punk, and only punk drummer.
