My sister was diagnosed with cherubism when she was 8 she was the first person in wales in over 50 years to be diagnosed. My sister had an operation which meant she had her jaw bones removed and she has no facial disfigurement. Im sick of hearing Victoria Wright saying that there is no cure cos there is and it is not a recent operation as my sister is now 39.
My mother had an early childhood remedy for our staring. She would grab a piece of our skin and twist it!. I can't stare at different people to this day! I'm 58
