This reminds me of my fox I raised. I found him in a mud puddle, cold and starving and so tiny. I raised him back to health, he was a cheeky bugger. He eventually found a female fox and they went off together when winter came. Sometimes he still comes back and suns himself where we used to play together. But remember, they are meant to be free. I lived in the country as well so he could come and go as he pleased. They will also destroy your home by digging and chewing, he was worth it :)

I love foxes. I see them not far from here sometimes, and I live in the city. But if you drive just a little bit out of the Philadelphia limit on Rt 73, it's not rare at all to see a fox crossing the road late at night.

I'm gonna have to say stories like this aren't like The Fox and the Hound. I know people like to associate fox stories with it, especially in America, because it's one of the FEW somewhat famous movies involving a fox. The Fox and the Hound is one of the more realistic and honestly depressing movies I grew up on. Yes yes the fox and the hound both lived happily ever after but still...they parted ways. And so much sadness before that. But it was truthful too. Cases like this are happier.
