man on youtube i got to see all the drilling going on. . On a new harp to make it sound good. I'm totally messed up. Is that all required?

hey ron. Good job. Man i got a made in china swan harp for like $6. It's in c and i'm not getting that f and a flat in 2, 3 draws Respectively. I get like f # and a instead. Is it my harp? It's my first one so pls help me out.

Hi Ronnie! - first of all, Thanks a lot! I've been playing for two weeks like 3 hours a day and I learn mainly from your vids ;) I just wanted to ask, what do you mean when you say "use your tongue to do that taa method on the 2 draw" at 1:09 to 1:11 . If it's difficult to explain Ill just use 2 blow instead, but either way thx :p

@Blocker1555 tah method is when you use the tip of your tongue and touch it to the roof of your mouth to separate the notes.

Hey Ronnie, great video. i have a little off topic question. Since its winter my lips become very dry and it sometimes hurts to play the harp, any suggestions.. I'm drinking a lot of water and using chap stick.

those are the first two suggestions that come to mind, so i'm not sure what else you could do. perhaps, try carmex instead of chapstick..it seems to last longer and might cure your dry lips temporarily.

Funny! my swiss harp teacher gave me this track as an exercise. This song is simple but it's an excellent base to learn how to make it sound bluesy. It's not about playing a lot of notes as fast as possible like a robot but it's about getting this magic soulfulness which makes this little instrument great for blues.
