Imam Bukhari (Rahimahullaah) reports on the authority of Imam Nafi' [ra] who narrates from Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Umar, Radi-Allahu anhu, that Rasulullah said, 'Oppose the Mushrikeen (polytheists); lengthen the beards and trim the moustaches.'

Imam Nafi' (RA) further states, 'And ibn Umar, Radi-Allahu anhu, during Hajj or Umrah used to hold on to his beard with his fist and cut off whatever was in excess of that.' (Bukhari vol.2 pg.875; Kitab-ul-Libas no.5892)

@AquaaLeo I think Ghamdi never wear School uniform, He use to wear causal dress at school. And he was allowed to wear causal dress, causes he was there for education not for discipline. So today he is saying beard is not pat of Islam.

Folks, all the man is saying is that whatever you do, do so in an a socially acceptable and reasonable manner. Whether it is keeping a beard or any other type of facial hair. Nobody should wear these in a manner to make them appear a fool, a caveman, a barbarian, or unhygenic. Its that simple.
