There is something worth considering as well. With 2000yen being the sweet spot. If you consider the 1/100 Seed and 00 kits are on par with early Master Grades and around those prices, we may be seeing more no grade 1/100's for the new series.

I think they'll probably drag Wing on over a while. They finished off Wing with the HCMpro Line back in 2008 and didnt have any new products for it. For 2011-2012 they're doing Wing MGs and Robot Tamashiis, so HG too will be cannibalizing itself. My guess is X will come b4 W. G is pretty much milked dry of popular suits after Master, and 2012 should see X making a comeback. Well not really comeback since the X suits never got a proper release back in its day anyway.
*Highs five* Me too. I'm kinda hoping the whole pack of 2nd gen WGs are on the way. And that's very likely considering Epyon is coming in *days* to kickstart the motion, and Wing0/Deathscythe Hell/Shuang-Tou Long alrdy have an existing frame. And let's not forget Heavy Arms/Sandrock are confirmed for 2012 too! The Kais shouldn't have to be too long a wait.

Well ur probably right about Wing 0 and WZC. I remember the rocket backpacks being HUGE even back in the HG1/100 days. But I think if the frame is strong enough for those ridiculous vampire wings on Deathscythe EW, it's good enough for Deathscythe Hell. I wonder when's Nataku coming out though.
@lilithdvs13 well weight is not the issue as the wings on deathscythe hell are small and light, but the design. If I remember correctly deathscythe hell's legs were slightly chunky, even in the anime. Especially towards the ankles. The EW versions don't quite have that. Though the suit with the most proportion changes is probably gonna be sandrock. I would say that the EW shenlong would be enough for a MG nataku/altron but the dragon designs are different...
Yeah but DSH always had the thinnist legs out of the five so I don't see there being a problem. In fact it pretty much has the exact same leg structure as in EW, just with less spikes. So make the white parts a bit bulkier and there's our DSH.
If they could pull off a Nataku they could pull off the Ertou Long. Nataku had giantic claws comapred to Shen Long and Ertou Long. Not to mention Ertou Long pretty much have the exact same extended arms as Shen Long, just two.
i cant decide to get hyaku shiki 2.0 or not. i have zeta 2,0 in the mail right now so i probably will. but i cant decide between that or one of the first gundam 2.0s anyone have any sugestions?

@mastermanchief21 You know they have differant divisions and branches, bandai hobby division doesn't make toys, they make kits, so they have nothing to do with each other

@narutoman876 Well in my personal view, gunpla hasn't been doing well and, as you said, demand is down. Kamen Rider/ Super Sentai merchandise on the other hand always has a high demand in Japan and over-seas, it is also logical for Bandai to put more money into what they know will make them money
oh man I really really really hope they release a PG Unicorn and a MG Kshatriya , they really need to make a MG Nobel to go along with the God Gundam.
awesome news, thanks for that. some comments to add to the discussion. i am a UC fan with disposable income. a PG unicorn would be awesome and i would prob get it if its under $350 USD. I would pay a little more for a PG Full Armor Unicorn. I wish I was more into Gundam Wing and OO but to be honest I just don't care much about them. The Neo Zeon suits from 83 SM would be sweet :P
i'm hoping that the 00 series comes out with 1/100 version of their movie suits. the hyaku shiki v2.0 is pretty exciting. definitely looking out for that one. hoping they find a solution for the mg kshatriya. would enjoy building it.

I want them to put out MG's of the rest of the Gundams in 00. Most desired is the 0 Gundam and Reborns Gundam. But really, the rest of the 00 Gundam (i know a lot of people want a MG Harute) i dont see why they wouldnt. If they put MG's to basically all the current Gundams of the past, i dont see why they wouldnt.
Great review btw rrobbert, really looking forward to the V2. Still irked that they aren't doing anything about the rest of the Gundams in 00 though.
@tij313 theres a lot of mgs yet theres even more that havent been released in mg. theres A LOT. the other 00 gundams probably wont get mgs for a very long time, if ever. which is perfectly fine with me, i dont like 00. Tuhough i could see 0 and reborn getting mgs in the nearer future.
@below61 Yeah i am aware of that. It seems a bit unrealistic but i do think that the chance that they will eventually finish off the Gundams of 00 is pretty good. If not soon then later on. I agree that i dont like the Gundams of the series. Really just the Reborns and the 0 Gundam. I could care less if they dont make MG's of others, just as long as i get the Reborns.
@tij313 theres also a chance that as mgs go down the 00 gundams will get rgs in the future and not a mg.
if 0 and reborns come out ill definitely be getting 0. As much as i hate gundam 00, 0 gundam is a very nice representation of rx782, so id probably break down and get that one.

@below61 I dont discriminate any Gundam lol. I made it a goal to get every Gundam that is in model form, even if i dont like the way it looks. Like i dont really like the way Double Zeta looked because it is too bulky for my taste but i am still gonna get it and all of its variants.

@below61 Lol i am 18 and my situation was right where you are now. Having to wait for my birthday and holidays to get what i got now. Now that i got a job i can afford one per paycheck haha. When you turn 16 you can pretty much get to the same area where i am.

@below61 At that age its kinda hard finding a place you want to work at who will actually hire you. Right now, getting your first job you know, it shouldnt matter what you do. Its a job and a source of income. Thats what matters i think haha.
MG kshatriya would be awesome but having a steel frame wouldn't be something convenient, it will just give it too much weight. i am so looking forward to the MG V2 Gundam
I kinda wish they would wrap up the 00 Movie line with the Seravee II and GN-X IV. I know both can be made with some kitbashing but that's not my strong point. ><
And man, that sucks about master grades getting less releases. Maybe if they started charging less...

I have been waiting for news of a PG Unicorn. I'm glad bandai is considering it, I just hope it's quality isn't too diminished by gimmicks like the last 2 PG's were. I am also very happy about the hyaku shiki ver 2.0 news, as well as what they are doing with the V2. I couldn't even keep my MG Victory together and it is currentlly a pile of parts, I'm glad they are being very careful in trying to keep from another disaster like that again.
I am suprised that they make a MSN-100 2.0 the first is enough, and better will be they make a 2.0 Alex Gundam it deserves a new model kit. Iam very happy abaut V2. I want to collect all UC main Gundams in MG, and small Zeon army in HG.

I myself am disappointed that X only had the HG Gundam X and Divider X released so far, I want a Master Grade DX already!, along with a sleeker (if that's possible) G-Falcon, goddamn Wing D=< (No offense to the Wing Fans of course, I just don't like it myself).
I hope they use the sparkly gloss injected plastic for the MG Hyaku Shiki and Delta Gundam, like they did for the trans-am 00 kits. Chrome gold plastic just has too many problems
@rrobbert184 I'm still hoping for a MG Exia R2 to come out. It'd be an easy kit for Bandai to do and I'm sure it'll be very appealing to Bandai since it'd be easy and they could sell more LED units. =) Most of it would be taking parts from MG Exia.
Sorry for any Quanta fans, but I really don't like the fact that it practically did nothing in the movie. Yea it fought a few mobile suits, but all it really did was break into pieces and do some weird stuff. It is a cool mobile suit, I will give it that, but it barely used any of its weapons.
i waited so long for the mg or pg kshatriya after the release of hg kshatriya.. i don't care how much the price is and i will definitely buy it.. cos it definitely worth your money..
I would pay ANY price for an MG Kshatryia. I really wish Bandai would come out with MG's of any of the other Celestial Being Gundams. That and even something like the Enact, the Ahead, a Tieren or Reborn's Gundam would be awesome in MG. They'd sell oodles of them if they were made considering how popular 00 was.
Regarding the fewer releases of MG cause of the current economy, it's unfortunate but makes all the sense in the world. Fortunately, the RGs keep getting better and better and while they're no replacement for MG, it's better than nothing. On the other hand, Bandai concentrating in G Gundam is not very good news for me but at least they are also going to support HGUC 0083 (Gerbera Tetra? GP04?). Finally, while expected, I truly regret the fact that a MG Turn X or Sumo is very unlikely to happen.
@Novahyou7 I agree, i could actually take it easier on the MGs if Bandai released some more really cool RGs. I'm specifically waiting for the Zeta, which, once finished, will probably revolutionize Gunpla once more, what with the Die cast joints they'd have to build.
@Novahyou7 yes, like i said earlier, its going to take a toll on gunpla-ers collection, but it will help our wallets a lot. it will also give some an excuse to explore other gunpla areas. im not to concerned about turn x and sumo, but what i do want is X. i don't care to much for g gundam, but i guess this gives me a chance to save money so i can splurge later, as none othe recent mgs interest me, except for delta plus, and none of the wing mgs do either.
Several interesting things you bring up: *This is a question I asked myself several times: when Bandai says stuff like "we want to make the V2 as good as possible, so it's still in development...are they ACKNOWLEDGING the issues the MG V1 had? in other words, I wonder if they check user reviews and comments regarding the kits being too loose or with weight issues (like Qant[T] infamous bending) or that statement is just a way of promote the future kit as a thoughtfully designed.

I would pay a little more for a PG Full Armor Unicorn. I wish I was more into Gundam Wing and OO but to be honest I just don't care much about them. The Neo Zeon suits from 83 SM would be sweet :P

i'm hoping that the 00 series comes out with 1/100 version of their movie suits. the hyaku shiki v2.0 is pretty exciting. definitely looking out for that one. hoping they find a solution for the mg kshatriya. would enjoy building it.

I want them to put out MG's of the rest of the Gundams in 00. Most desired is the 0 Gundam and Reborns Gundam. But really, the rest of the 00 Gundam (i know a lot of people want a MG Harute) i dont see why they wouldnt. If they put MG's to basically all the current Gundams of the past, i dont see why they wouldnt.
Great review btw rrobbert, really looking forward to the V2. Still irked that they aren't doing anything about the rest of the Gundams in 00 though.

@tij313 theres a lot of mgs yet theres even more that havent been released in mg. theres A LOT. the other 00 gundams probably wont get mgs for a very long time, if ever. which is perfectly fine with me, i dont like 00. Tuhough i could see 0 and reborn getting mgs in the nearer future.

@below61 Yeah i am aware of that. It seems a bit unrealistic but i do think that the chance that they will eventually finish off the Gundams of 00 is pretty good. If not soon then later on. I agree that i dont like the Gundams of the series. Really just the Reborns and the 0 Gundam. I could care less if they dont make MG's of others, just as long as i get the Reborns.

@tij313 theres also a chance that as mgs go down the 00 gundams will get rgs in the future and not a mg.
if 0 and reborns come out ill definitely be getting 0. As much as i hate gundam 00, 0 gundam is a very nice representation of rx782, so id probably break down and get that one.

@below61 Ah yeah i forgot that he mentioned that. Well either way, MG's are MG's, and as long as its a Gundam i really dont care if they decrease how much they put out. I'm a die hard fan so i'll be satisfied with whatever.
And yeah i really love the 0 Gundam. Just for the reason you said. I dont think it gets the recognition it deserves. And even though it'll be small and there isn't much going on in terms of weapons, it'd still be nice.
And stickin to mah guns, Reborns needs to be an MG

@below61 I dont discriminate any Gundam lol. I made it a goal to get every Gundam that is in model form, even if i dont like the way it looks. Like i dont really like the way Double Zeta looked because it is too bulky for my taste but i am still gonna get it and all of its variants.

I can buy maybe two MG's a month and thats it. Still, i dont think it will be that long for me catch up. What really gets to me is how they keep releasing new MG"s. its exciting but it puts me back further and further haha.

@tij313 to me thats rich lol, im 15 and dont have a job, so i have to wait till holidays and birthdays to get kits, luckily my birthdays in the middle of the yeah, so ill get about 2 mgs every half a year plus whatever kits i can afford. which is why ive only recently started gunpla-ing this past year, even though ive been following gunpla for years. lol. of course that really doesnt bother me that much because i have so little shelf space, i have 2 mgs up right now, and my shelves are full. lol

@below61 Lol i am 18 and my situation was right where you are now. Having to wait for my birthday and holidays to get what i got now. Now that i got a job i can afford one per paycheck haha. When you turn 16 you can pretty much get to the same area where i am.

nice to hear about V2 being in development, if they take their time it could be one of the best MGs so far.
Hyaku Shiki 2.0 and Delta gundam would both be great, but as they are mostly just recolours of the delta plus, i dunno about that.
less MGs is good however, its too expensive to buy the newer ones straight away, which also means i can focus on getting some more, cheaper HGs

I have been waiting for news of a PG Unicorn. I'm glad bandai is considering it, I just hope it's quality isn't too diminished by gimmicks like the last 2 PG's were. I am also very happy about the hyaku shiki ver 2.0 news, as well as what they are doing with the V2. I couldn't even keep my MG Victory together and it is currentlly a pile of parts, I'm glad they are being very careful in trying to keep from another disaster like that again.

With all the work having to go into a PG Unicorn, and the higher price, I dunno if they'd actually make one, I wouldn't mind getting a PG Unicorn though, Unicorn's awesome XD.
I myself am disappointed that X only had the HG Gundam X and Divider X released so far, I want a Master Grade DX already!, along with a sleeker (if that's possible) G-Falcon, goddamn Wing D=< (No offense to the Wing Fans of course, I just don't like it myself).

Sorry for any Quanta fans, but I really don't like the fact that it practically did nothing in the movie. Yea it fought a few mobile suits, but all it really did was break into pieces and do some weird stuff. It is a cool mobile suit, I will give it that, but it barely used any of its weapons.

I would pay ANY price for an MG Kshatryia. I really wish Bandai would come out with MG's of any of the other Celestial Being Gundams. That and even something like the Enact, the Ahead, a Tieren or Reborn's Gundam would be awesome in MG. They'd sell oodles of them if they were made considering how popular 00 was.

Regarding the fewer releases of MG cause of the current economy, it's unfortunate but makes all the sense in the world. Fortunately, the RGs keep getting better and better and while they're no replacement for MG, it's better than nothing. On the other hand, Bandai concentrating in G Gundam is not very good news for me but at least they are also going to support HGUC 0083 (Gerbera Tetra? GP04?). Finally, while expected, I truly regret the fact that a MG Turn X or Sumo is very unlikely to happen.

Several interesting things you bring up: *This is a question I asked myself several times: when Bandai says stuff like "we want to make the V2 as good as possible, so it's still in development...are they ACKNOWLEDGING the issues the MG V1 had? in other words, I wonder if they check user reviews and comments regarding the kits being too loose or with weight issues (like Qant[T] infamous bending) or that statement is just a way of promote the future kit as a thoughtfully designed.
