  • T-Rex would easily whoop that things ass

  • @SharinganBoy9899 you interstellar racist!

  • 'Researchers have recently said, bah-humbug.' Hahahahahahaha yeah that's those wacky scientists for you.

  • wait has this already happend?

  • @austin09jj Yes.

  • Then should make Part II. the special affects as well as the aliens are so realistic.

  • I think the arrowtoungues sonar sounds scarier than t rex roar.

  • I shat bricks when I realized this is being narrated by the guy who plays Dr. Cox on SCRUBS.

  • "Tall, mysterious gourd-like structures."

    aka Space Turnips

  • Thanks for uploading this.

  • Star Wars new version!! XD

  • is there really gonna be a mission like this in 2014?

  • is this real?

  • Comment removed

  • I remember watching this when I was young. I was deeply interested, now if only I can get my hands on the book.

  • what if, when they do this, and get their with the probes, theres nothing there... that would suck

  • i don't believe in evolution, i believe humans evolved from ham sandwichs, and dogs evolved from a mcdonalds buger....

  • @looking3008 Hmmmm seems like a good alternative to the more popular Ideas.......I'll go with your 'human's from ham, and dogs from hamburgers' theory......maybe 'cause I'm hungry.

  • the aliens are interesting and all.. but I find myself more drawn to the Probes. I'd love to see some schematics to them.

  • Also, we better hope to hell that we're the first to contact other life. If aliens from another planet came to probe ours, it means they're smarter than us and can probably kill our whole civilization,

  • @itssosarahh But give me a logical reason as to why they would want to.

  • @tryinmybest

hahaha I wasn't saying they outright definitely would, just that they can. my word choice was a little off i admit.

  • @itssosarahh ah, alright, I was hoping I would have a chance to go into my rant as to why it would be illogical for aliens to come all the way here just to squish us. Unless they saw us as a definite threat, I really think they'd only come to Earth for benevolent reasons. It's one area I think Steven Hawking is way wrong about.

  • @tryinmybest

ahaha, i'm sure you have a viable arguement..

    rant away~!

  • @itssosarahh Lol, well, popular theories are that aliens would come here to strip mine the planet, illogical because there have to be countless worlds with no life but have the same elements, and possibly clouds of those elements exist in space. They wouldn't want us for slaves because there's a good chance they'd have robots. So, unless they just REALLY like killing, the only negative side to alien visitation would be the chance of disease.

  • @tryinmybest

except that they wouldn't visit us due to our inherent arrogant and prejudicial nature... we are still a young race...

  • @itssosarahh we could kill their whole civilization on darwin IV, but the probes had no weapons and weren't aggressive in the least. hopefully when we're visited, they come with the same mindset and just want to chill out and look at our water or something

  • holy crap those flying machine things must be giant

  • OMG! I want one of those animals from that planet! They're cute! :D

  • @CaitlinsComics Lmao them animals are huge.

  • Michio Kaku is amazing. If I had to pick my favorite astrophysicist-to-appear-on-several-special-cable-documentaries it would be him.

  • @icos211 Same here, he's awesome.

  • @icos211 Same, but I kinda like Neil Degrasse Tyson, too :)

  • two suns? hmm

  • Alien Planet says: Avatar can suck it! :D

    This way more awesome.

  • @sharkbowl300

Yeah, at least the creatures in Alien PLanet actually look ALIEN, as opposed to "earth animals but blue with extra limbs and antenna" thing Pandora has going on there.

  • @Lockerboythethird There are reasons animals look as they do. Land-based, bilateral, intelligent life with skeletons will have some resemblance to us. The fact that the eosapiens levitate is more of a less-probable excuse to show something more alien. We don't need to be on another planet to determine what the life on it would look like- we just need a basic understanding of biology. I would not be surprised to see extraterrestrial life like that in Star Wars. The layouts are logical.

  • @chylerreckeaolgodhul But, it all depends on the fairly-predictable biology of the common ancestor.

  • @sharkbowl300

Ironically,Barlow(The Guy who Came up witht he alien's design) also Designed the aliens For avatar

  • ike and leo ae awsome i wish i was a robot! lol

  • cool!!!

  • @stuntkid121 yeah until then i didn't realize the probes were so big

30 or 40 feet long is my best guess

  • Also, if a star system is seven light years away, then the information that we're getting now is from seven years ago. It might not even exist anymore. Still, though, stars last billions of years, so the odds of the star failing are very slim. Nonetheless, I find it amazing how far we've progressed, and I hope that if we do find something, it won't try to kill us...

  • and you better hope they don't have killer bacteria on them either

  • The only real reasons I could see them killin us would be galatic expansion, slavery, or because we start it

its unlikely they will want to eat us are dna will be too disimilar, and its unlikely they will want our resources because we have primitive resources, they probably have something far more advanced to be able to travel here to wage war

  • I know that this is only a fictional show, but is an aerial unsupported hologram like that possible? Even with future technology?

  • For the sake of the presentation, we have to assume that it is. Much of the theoretical technology presented is technically possible including the antimatter or nuclear fusion drive that the Von Braun ship uses to get that far.

  • they should run a sequel colonizing Darwin IV and show a war between us and the Eosapiens

  • @pleiadianemporor that would be cool, but i doubt we'd win. we're too small

  • but their bags are methane bang

  • Moot point, we got guns.

But why make war? Not likely we can live comfortably in such a dense atmosphere anyhow.

  • Plus it takes 50-odd years to get there, which is completely unreasonable travelwise

  • why colonizing? why a war? damn....

  • our world will end this would be the best possible place do you think eosapiens will leave u alone no we would fight them back

  • they wouldnt fire nukes or anything, it would be fairly easy to destroy them

  • No. It a documentary. Not an action movie.

  • @pleiadianemporor great....We would kill all aliens!!! WTF is wrong with you???

  • @fgt73 hes retard

  • @fgt73 it would be more intresting and very likely man will have to leave the solar system we would definitely go here and the eosapiens are just going to leave us there NO and you know what we won't build perimeters to defend ourselves we will just kill all of them and take it and those with spears against missiles planes tanks machine guns etc would be no match even with their huge height

  • @pleiadianemporor

    That would be like Avatar.

  • @pleiadianemporor tht wud be awesome

  • @pleiadianemporor That would be even better as a trilogy, this is one, colonizing is two, and the war is 3. It fits because each special would have a good focus. One of the building of planets and bringing of humans to use them ect, and another about possible warfare both in space and on another planet. Sounds good to me

  • @pleiadianemporor While entertaining, such an event would be unfortunate. This is supposed to be a testament a good result, and war, while having good effects, is never worth it.

  • shouldnt they carry guns with them like a machine gun or shotgun mounted for protection

  • Wait.. They found an actualy alien life that wasn't just a tiny organism? They found a REAL alien predator on this planet and they act like it's nothing special? .. DUDE, IT'S THE FIRST TIME YOU FOUND ACTUAL BIG FUCKING ALIEN LIFE!

  • It's a show. Those are animations.

  • i love how curiously Leo looks at the spider probe :D

  • @iAmWillxB like it was its child aye :)

  • Wait..Darwin 4 has two suns?It's like Tatooine.

  • I believe 3 suns, tatooine :3

  • No it has twin suns.I read about star wars stuff most of the time.

  • Yep, Tatooine is in a binary system as well^^, love star wars^^

  • It has Chinese subtitles, silly.

  • The Universe is one big question of what? When? and realy good question HOW... and with question how you can continue on realy spooky way :) I like science too :)

  • Uh, If I was an alien, I wouldn't understand a thing from the hologram. Looks more like a fancy youtube video...

  • wat the hell is that spooky bluey air thing with the darth vader like breathing???

  • You meant space prob named Ike? :)

  • no i mean the thing watching them from the cliff

  • ah yes :D That :D Don't know too :/ :P

  • I think it's an Arrow Tongue wihich uses sonar

  • Eosapien

  • An Eospien.

  • i dont really care for the ideas, but i just like the special effects and creatures they think of

    just my opinion
