  • i saw nothing wrong with those curls,they were quite easy for her,i could do the same amount with the same weight but i'm a guy with skinnier arms than her,lastly i wish more elderly would exercise,less diseases

  • ok, those are hammer curls with poor form. Hammer curls work the forearm. Might as well do 20-25lb curls with proper form. FORM IS EVERYTHING.

  • @billngayle the fact that you can even do these types of workouts with that much weight at your age is impressive. but the workout is all when your dropping the weight. you should be dropping the weight as slow as you can. if you cant slow your motion as your going down then you should switch to lighter weights.

  • I only have 12.5 inch arms but can curl 50 lbs, however, I don't have really big biceps so that may be reason. They say that if you gain 10 lbs of muscle, you gain an inch. So if I weigh, 160lbs right now, and I would to gain 10 lbs, I would be 170 13.5 inches.

  • Best thing for home training is the dumbbells with the removable weight. Just buy the dumbbells and separate weight plates. And that's some serious stuff man. I did like 40 lbs. hammer curls and 35 lbs. curls but I wasn't maxing out. I've got to get back into that. I miss those days. Well, good luck man.

  • Yeah, you shouldn't swing to lift the weight. If you have to swing, that's a sign you're using too much weight. Plus it doesn't work out your biceps as much and it can hurt your back.

  • Mine started at about 11 inches and are now only 12.5, trying to get them to 14 by hitting my triceps hard. Just comes from naturally low body fat.
