my Alaskan village sled dogs are much like this, summer time exercise includes all of this kind of stuff. These Malinios are the only dogs I have seen that have such agility and stamina as my dogs.

Amazing dogs, yes, I also love Malinois, but amazing is the amount of Malinois in need we have in Germany and all over Europe. Malinois of 1 or 2 years which will be killed in french shelters because they don't know where to put them.

I wouldn't like to know what the Chinese will do with these dogs in 3 or 4 years. They will not be able to climb the trees but possible is that their joints will be distroyed because of this extreme jumping and climbing....

There's a good reason why they are the official EU police dogs-they have great noses, they are loyal to the handler and absolutely can't be brided, they are agile and fast, healthy, malinois is going to be my next dog.

Spectacular, but this high jumping is not very healthy for the dog in the long run. Besides why send the dog when a bad guy is up in the tree? The bad guy definitely won't come down when you have a dog barking up the tree, there is no need to send the dog in that situation. Again, it all looks spectacular but that's all. Not very clever this.

@fcu1 These dogs were trained to do that, jump. They have had hours and hours of training to physically capable to do so without harming themselves. Also, when the "bad guy" is up in a tree, he'd have the time to shoot the dog if it stayed on the ground, that's why the dogs jump up to get them, just like police dogs in training bite the decoy on top of cars/fences etc. They need to be prepared to any situations.

i'm pretty sure these malinois are from the french blood lines which are bread for the french ring in which case the malinois from the french blood lines are bread to be smaller and quicker thus increasing their agility and i wonder if they alterd their do claws to aid in their climbing abilities regardles these dogs take my breath away every time i c it

Great video! We have a young malinois for adoption in GA who wants SO badly to bond with someone. She'd sell her soul for a chance to play tug or ball and has awesome potential. Just got one. She's absolutley amazing. Traing her is a breeze because that all she wants to do. Her only desire is to please. Don't get me wrong she's a handfull and requires constant attention and obiediance training. Not a dog for somebody who is gone from the home for several hours a day. This is the most incredable video I've ever seen.

They're typical. These guys are obviously trained intensively, I love the tree climbing!

They love to run as well. My dog will jump on the kitchen counter to find toys I have hidden on top of the kitchen cabinets. Malinois are smart as well, and don't need to be shown something more than a few times.
