  • I think instead of music you should give verbal instructions. It's alot more helpful than music.

  • JD, First I want to say THANK YOU for all of your wonderful videos. The Time and money you have invested, so WE can learn is very admirable. Your Teaching Technique is top knotch and all of your videos are way above Standard. The One thing I find lacking, is you do not give measurements. How much rope do I need? Do I start in the middle, ect. With that exception I find your videos to be of absolute High Quality! Thank You

  • fantastic thank you

  • Hello. How long should a piece of cord be for a wrist band? Any suggestions? Thanks.

  • did this with 550 paracord and a monkey fist on one end, turned out great!

  • i cant see because off your hand

  • What kind of Line did you use for this?

  • Thank you JD, another awesome video to give me ideas :)

  • Love it! I thought it was complicated, but I can plait with 4 strands and it's actually just that but the initial fold is different. I'm chuffed to bits that I can do this one. Thanks again for posting your knots - always enjoy looking at them. I've an odd 'thing' for knots.

  • @wonderwend1 I was gonna say, this reminds me of a 4-strand braid I've done a few times in my own hair.

  • Well done, JD. I just made a couple of your rattlesnake fobs... first thing I have ever tied, besides sheep's head woggles for Boy Scouts. This one is really cool, and I look forward to tying it. How could a person turn it into a bracelet or belt? (I am new to all this.)

  • @KenmoreM I was trying to figure that out for this also. The only thing I can think of is adding some kind of buckle or clasp at 1:26 and then making it, but honestly, I'm not sure how I'd put it on there. One thing I'd try is using a large metal ring used in jewelry making, with a smaller one to hook that to the bracelet, and knotting the other end so it will fit into the ring. The idea is to make the knot fit the same way the non-clasp bracelets are looped on the starting end.

  • Nice music! It reminds me of a skinny English guy who used to be on Factory Records (I think) years ago... Can't think of his name though..?

  • @bensons999 - You're thinking of Vini Reilly of The Durutti Column (amazing artist). This music is from my friend, another phenomenally talented guitarist, David Shakiban.

  • Neat.

  • Wow!, So simple to tie and thanks for sharing.

  • Thank you for your morning present. Nice & Simple!

  • Great I was wondering how this could become a wrist band??

  • Looks easy enough...! Got plenty of time coming up in Jan. and then I'm going to go crazy with this stuff...again!! Thanks!

  • JD this is awesome!! just what I am looking for, for several of my projects I have in mind!! thanks again JD!!

  • No idea what caused this video to be flagged JD. Thanks for reposting it.

  • Great

  • I am going to try this one :)
