this series may be the best travel show i've ever seen...its not all high end glitzy tourist spots. its roadside shacks and vendors, restaurants of all kinds and interesting tidbits about the local culture. i've lived outside the US before, and this is one of the only shows that has ever given me 'a sense of place' comparable to actually being in a foreign country. great tv, especially for those who have never left home, or those who want to recall the feeling of being in a strange land.

i dont understand how can people dont know about this show. i've asked all my friends and none has heard of this show. I have asked even my teachers and only one of them barely knew about it.

I just dont get it, how can people be so ignorant and watch garbage on MTV to watch shows like No Reservations.

This is the best show ever. Tony is just a real guy with a real past and a great sense of humor. If you enjoy food, travel and cultures then NR is the show to watch. I am burning them all too DVD for posterity.

i've been outside the US before, and frankly this show does a good job showing life in other countries, if you are going to travel this should be a decent primer.

I used to travel alone like this guy. You get to see more, experience a city not just the tourist traps you get stuck with when you go with the wife and kids. ( I have neither!!) I like the randomness of it all. Walk into a restauraunt you never heard of in a strange city and roll the dice. He does this sometimes plus he has his connections so the show is not a total disaster! I understand that part of it. Great job! Can I get my own show???
