I have a pet squirrel!!! Her name is scampy! :) we found her when she was pregnant, and kept stealing nuts from the bird thingy. My mum still gets annoyed at her stealing the birds food, but me and my sis put it out FOR the squirrel and get annoyed whenever the birds steal them :)

When I was in Los Angeles I was very close to Thousand Oaks, and squirrels were very common there..

I was really excited because in my country (Portugal) there aren't squirrels like there are in LA.

They only wander in the woods and are very difficult to see.

Have a ton of them in the back yard. City came one day and removed a bunch of the big sticks and branches from the trees so they would not break the power lines, and watched a squirel not notice that one his landing branches when he jumps was missing. He literally was grabing and grabing and no branch was there. He just pinballed all the way to the ground. Little sucker was crazy he went back up and tried again with the same results.
