@XraYZoood He's using a POD 2, not a pedal. Some of his settings you can download as line 6 files for you pod devices from his site. He has got the tone cracked though I must admit. I can never get as good a tone as he does out of my POD 2. I think he went to Hogwart's School of Wizardry of some other shite

@ch33z31t He uses POD for his effects. I use the POD X3, but if you're going to be playing in a band, I would suggest getting the POD X3 Live. It connects to your computer via USB as well as having a midi port input.

@ch33z31t I can tell you this.. You will never get a good, solid heavy distortion form that amp. Everything will sound tinny and fake no matter what you do. The best easiest way to come close would be a boss metalcore pedal (not the metalzone) which costs $95 new. But to be hoenst you are best off saving for a new amp.

@ch33z31t dude u dont necessarily need a pedal - that amps kinda small and probably doesnt have very good tone - if u can get a tube amp or tube simulated amp - or like a Line 6 Spider Valve amp you can get nice tones - or get like a Line 6 POD X3 and you can do a lot of tones including this and more.

@ch33z31t I'd recommend the HD500 pedal, very good live if you bought a pair o Mackie powered speakers (like the TH 12a or TH 15a) and you can also use it as an audio interface for recording - although there are no built in mic preamps, or acoustic amps, you can find work arounds :)

@JPAnthonyy Sweep picking is a technique that allows you to play a large number of notes in a small amount of time. The picking aspect is essentially like strumming in a chord, thats the best way I can describe it. As you "sweep" down and up the strings like you strum a chord you play notes (obviously) but they should sound like individual notes (unlike a chord) so as you strum the "chord" (in quotations because they are usually arpeggios or scales) you lift each finger as you play each note.
