i wish you would this for puzzle games. because i hate nothing more than playing games on my phone where i'm pressed for time or have to be accurate. i don't get how people can play shit like that on the subway, in a car or whatever. when you have to interrupt frequently and it is near impossible to move your finger in a straight line.

People, you have to understand, HIB is making their best to be as cross-platform as possible. If they ever find a way to publish on iPhone and/or Windows 7 phones, they will.

Android is open source, that helps it being slower and sometimes less efficient than an iPhone, but it also allows user to REALLY use their smartphone.

@theDANISHdynamite They can't. these apps aren't downloaded from the market, but directly the installer (apk), then manually installed. iPhones can't do that, because their applications packages (ipa) are only installable by the appstore, only apple can sell an iPhone app. One of the many reasons why android is (IMO) superior.

Yes, you can install ipas by jailbreaking your iphone, but the humble bundle just CAN'T say ""you want to install your game? well, crack your iPhone and you can !"

1 - gather the sources of the games they are selling (making them unable to add new games without a massive update).

2 - pay the price to publish on the appstore(expensive).

3 - remove the "pay what you want" system

But apple will probably never allow such an app on the appstore (not enough money for them, it might even be considered as an alternative market, which isn't allowed by the TOS)

And finally, iTunes' giftcodes are ONLY money, not music or apps.

Can these games be updated through the Android Market if an update is available for them?AFAIK apk installations are not linked to the Market, and even if they are (by force using Titanium Backup), they will be be recognised as not being purchased and the download will not go through.

Android is cool and all, but it's not perfect. The iOS isn't perfect, either, but you guys need to stop flaming the iOS because "It doesn't have the features Android has". I'm pretty sure iOS has some useful features that aren't available on Androids.

Like I said, I've never used an Android before, only iOS, but I think they're both great systems, both with ups and downs.

Humble Indie Bundle won't expand to game consoles for the exact same reason as iOS. Pretty much all game consoles are extremely locked up and it is not possible to independently distribute games. Some consoles have indie game repositories but these don't distribute to all countries and DRM is still used.
