  • SOUTH PARK RULES!!!!

  • I would prefer a book model, they are much faster and don't wear your computer's power supply.

But these are just so simple to use, I love them.

    Old video tho.

  • 120 GB is alot??? where did u even find such a small capacity??

  • Video is 2007, now they have these at around 500GB.

  • That video is from 2007. Almost two and a half years ago. Back then 120 GB was a lot for a 2.5'' drive.

  • Fucking Toll. LOL

  • can you store games on the portable hard drive

  • Nope.

  • lol

  • You can store the game files but most games require the CD, if you have them working without CD then it should be OK, unless the games need to read data really fast, then performance will be bad.

  • PLEASSEE Help me!!! how do you do it?! i am soooooooooooooooooooooo comfuse! there is no directions that come with it!!! HELPPPPPP MMEEE PLEAASE!!!!!

  • well first you plug it in...

  • i have the same exact hard drive. i'm having problems with it though. it's saying usb device not recognized..

  • It might be because the USB socket that you're plugging it in to might not be hi-speed. Make sure you plug it in to a USB 2.0 socket.

  • good advice would u say this would be good if u where trying too store drum samples on like u was a producer

  • i have a problem with my western digital passport hd plz if someone can help me send me a message

  • doesnt work on my computer! i have got an y-cavle, but win xp, sp2 tries to install a driver but doesent find one. i tried everything! please help me!!!

  • your like the most straight up person..who has done a review on these external drives....im still tumbling between a freeagent, wd freeagent or toshiba

  • I got a 320GB Western Digital MY passport Hard Drive and it's exactly the the same for £84.99 yesterday. I also got this really awesome Neoprene Case made by Case Logic.

  • how much did it cost?

  • you can get one for about £120 from various places right now :)

  • I bought mine at $180 USD at best buy last week and its 320gb

  • I also have this question.. do you think it would work with those car stereo's where they have the usb in the receiver? I don't see why not...they work with flash drives. Though, the ones in the car receivers may not be a 2.0 usb or whatnot. Hhhmmm...guess I'll have to look at the receiver I decide to buy.

  • Have you had any success in using this as a flash drive (MP3 player) for your car?

  • Got mine today...only 6gbs used up so far. Guess I need more valuable info.

  • So...cool you just answered my question on these things. Which you didn't actually answer it but seeing you use it did. I didn't want to install the software that comes on it and use it like a usb flash drive and thats pretty much what you just showed me.

  • i'm having a problem with the 160 gb passport...my laptop drives stopped reading it...and i'm afraid i might have lost my files..

my "my book" WD external works fine...

does anybody know what went wrong?

    thanks

  • I got the 160 gb the only thing is the cord, it's to small. i tryed use another cord but, it's saying it can't find it on the computer.

  • But can i use it as a hard drive to boot windows?

  • I don't think so. It came w/ some utilities, but it was all backup stuff -- no "make boot disk" type of thing...

  • I saw it and i loved it!! great thing
