This makes me sad because I remember watching this as a kid, and my dog Snoopy always used to perk her eyes whenever they’d start honking. Eventually it sort of became Snoopy’s anthem. Then Snoopy died seven months ago, so whenver I hear this, I think of her.

Actually, this looks like 1980's to me.

Another one of my fave Sesame songs. Very catchy, very silly. I sang it to myself while folding the clothes (how can you not love honkers!). I first saw this on Sing Yourself Silly when I was a girl. But after the song, it cut to Maria and Luis wearing Groucho glasses, saying "Now that was silly!" I covered my eyes on that part. No idea why I did that. I was a goofy kid then. :-/
