@eelcapitann - Drums aren't as easy as they look like. Drums involve rhythm, coordination, timing, sometimes speed. They're easy to learn, but not to play.

And drums are the instrument that defines the rhythm and pace of the song. The guitar is not getting him off tempo, because HE is the one supposed to manage the tempo. The guitarist is off tune, and I gotta admit, he sucks. But the drummer should be managing the tempo, not the guitarist.
