There is a beautiful park by Learned Pond in my town Framingham that is full of life. On one side of the pond you can swim, but in another corner there's a sweet wildlife park home to swans and cygnets, ducks, geese, squirrels, a blue heron and lots of fish who are visible in the water from the park bench. I love to go sit there in the summer and communicate with my animal friends! ;,)
The characters are definitely timeless and classic. Just watching these videos I think back at how long ago this was made and it makes me really nostalgic. A lot of these videos are so comforting and great that they almost make me wonder if I missed out on something from back when they were made. But each season the message in the videos is just as relevant and effective as the day it was first shown.
my youngest son shares Jim Henson's birthday...September 24, 2007 (Jim would have been 71 years old)...and I tell him that everyday...tell all my friends constantly as well...Jim Henson was a smart man to have created such loveable and timelessly classic characters that my kids enjoy now as much as I did when I was their age

The cost to local government and industry and industry associated with continuous clearing of illegally dumped waste materials is significant. Some Cities and Counties have reported spending several million dollars per year on cleanup, hauling and disposal activities associated with illegal dumpsites. These costs may be passed along to residents in the form of higher service fees or property taxes.

Insects, such as mosquitoes that carry diseases, may hatch in water that pools on the waste. Bacteria can grow in discarded food, diapers and human waste. Hazardous chemicals in household and commercial solid waste may contaminate water and soil.

Did you know that Illegal dumping is a major problem that raises significant concerns with regard to safety, property values, and quality of life in our communities?Illegal dumping poses a risk to public health, aquatic habitats, and wildlife. Garbage may attract rodents and other animals.

I guess Kevin Clash and Fran Brill did the voices of the fish. Am I right?
antsamthompson9 2 years ago
Actually, songwriters Christopher Cerf, Sarah Durkee and Paul Jacobs are credited as the vocals of the fish.
Jbrangwynne53 2 years ago 2
Oh. But Kevin did puppeteer one of the fish. There is a picture of him getting ready to film this.
antsamthompson9 2 years ago 3
Really? I haven't seen it. Where did you find it?
Jbrangwynne53 2 years ago
It is on Kevin's autobiography website.
antsamthompson9 2 years ago 2
Great find, man. He did two of them. Not sure who did the other two though.
