You know the order in which you plug the pedals in makes a huge difference. You've got kind of a funky order. Then again I don't know how running a sax through these works... but just letting u know :) youtube it if u want.
@mikykim070 yes i do know that it makes a huge difference. what makes it funky? the gain stage is fine and it's really pretty clean... so- care to elaborate? this is what i do with the thing...
@yoursaxman I dont mean 2b offensive, just tryin to help. For electric, I have reverb last, volume 2nd last. I can cut off all effects w/volume, but the last note resonates w/the reverb at end. I put delay before reverb so I have a clean signal going to the delay and then the delayed signal can get... reverbitized? lol idk what it's called.
Little things like that for electric. W/sax it does look different tho. There are general order rules, but a big part is personal pref so wutevr works 4u :)
@mikykim070 no offense taken- genuinely appreciate your thoughts. my thinking on the reverb before the delays is that the delays are used as loops, and if there are a series of notes that i want reverb on/off then i have that choice as opposed to reverbitizing (lol) the whole loop at the end. same with the Wah-wah, Whammy and distortion pedal.
Sax mic is run thru a mixer, and from an Aux Send to the volume pedal at the front end of everything. That gives me a "dry" signal to solo over loops.
@yoursaxman for the most part, the order isn't funky. I just find it awkward putting all your effects after the volume. I watched your video though and I see why that would be helpful on a sax. It's really personal preference. I'm just trying to share knowledge and learn some as well.
