i have been on both carnival and royal (carnival freedom and carnival fansty and carnival magic) and ( marnier of the seas and liberety of the seas) i like how RC has the big open plan BUT i like carnival better because the inside is much better desings its fun and instenting and cool. RC is like a piece of pizza with no sause of cheese. but i like the RC outdoor ativites. i think carnival has a bright future even know they dont have the biggests ship but the size does not matter!!

While I love Princess & Carnival I would like to try RCI they have some interesting ships, I finally saw one in person just the exterior though which was Serenade of the Seas and her exterior even looked better than the Caribbean Princess. Tough call in my opinion since both lines offer different things

I have been on RCI and Carnival....I have been on RCI's Majesty of the Seas ( Their oldest operating ship) and on Allure of the Seas ( Their newest ship), but I have also been on Carnivals Newest and oldest ships as well. I like RCI better because of their friendlier, cleaner, and most of all, better value. RCI has a better exercise room and more free eateries, VS carnivals very few and one last important thing. RCI's ships dont look like old battle ships!!

they`re good, but the only that matters how much money you need to get in one of them and how it costs to be in one of the nice suites rooms, because they also look good. It doesn`t matter if it`s for adults or for kids, what matters is that you have fun in them. One of the great costs in each ship is the food or the luxury of the ship or the games that are in the ship, because some you don`t buy, but some you do buy.I never in ship before, but I how it works inside of one. I`m correct right?

Yes the Oasis is a big improvement from all of Royal Carribeain's Other cruise ships. But if you were to compare all of RC ships from Carnival's, Carnival would be #1 for tons of fun! RC is for more adults only. Carnival is for everyone! And at 1:30 in the video this clip should not be there because most people don't have about $9,000 to buy this penthouse sutie. Me, i'm fine with the little tiny oceanview stateroom. All I care about is the fun and relaxation.

You need to check your price facts. RCL offers many more room choices, but if you match apples to apples the prices are comparable. I just took my family of 4 on a 7 day western on Freedom and had two adjoining interior cabins and it cost $2000 total. $1000/cabin for a 7 day!! They also have 3 and 4 day cruises to the Bahamas for $149pp which include a stop at their private island Cococay. Just go to RCCL's web site (port fees extra).

RCL's Radiance, Voyager and Freedom class ships (12 in all) are industry leaders. All have more amenities than any CCL ship. Both the Freedom and Voyager class ships have ice skating rinks, golf simulators, in-line skating tracks, all have rock walls, Radiance ships have self leveling pool tables, glass elevators that face the ocean and more external glass per square foot than any other cruise ship. You might want to look into this for yourself. CCL is losing the war.

RCL FTW. I just got back from a Royal Caribbean cruise and it was awesome. It was the best cruise ever!!!!!!!!! everyone was nice and the food was awesome and the enterinment was exellent. Liberty Of the seas had this game called the quest and it was so much fun. Every time when I go to my room the cleaning staff would always say hello and ask how was your day. The wait staff was exellent. I love to go on another royal caribbean cruise maybe Oasis or Allure of the seas when it finish.

Yep, I will definitely go with Royal Caribbean this year. We booked a cruise with Carnival last year. After paying them the money in full they unbelievably went and cancel the cruise due to a private charter booking. If Carnival can bump off so many potential customers then they certainly dont deserve my time and money.

Carnival seems to attract an immiture crowd. Their ships are way too buissy looking with all the various colors and glitz. They constantly push the drinks. People were loud and obnoxious and disrespectfull.

On RCCL we were always pampered and greeted kindly and proffesionally by all staff members. The RCCL ships (2 of which they have now sold away) have always been wide open and relaxing in their design (and great looking to boot). I just can not say enougth about RCCL. The best by far!!

I went on 10 RCCL cruises before I tried any other cruise line. I had heard people saying how Carnival was better. I have always been completely satisfied with RCCL and never considered going on Carnival. The Carnival ships I had seen in various ports always looked like glorified freighters. So finally I took my family on the Carnival Magic. I just came back from a Carrnival cruise. I went on the Carnival Liberty. It looks kinda the same except for the designs. But structure looks the same.

in 2 yrs i might go on a Royal Carribian cuz they are better. Service, food, and ships. Atleast thats what my dad says.

We booked Carnival last year April 2008 from Barbados to the Windward Islands. By March, weeks before the cruise we received a letter from Carnival to say that our cruise was cancelled because the ship is needed for a private hire. Bearing in mind that the cruise was almost full I find it appalling that Carnival can treat customers this way. We got an half written apology which didnt sound genuine. We want to go in 2010 judging by what I have read here I will be going with Royal Caribbean.

Have been on Independence Of The Seas RCCL twice now and booked again a grand suite for November (my birthday), I just love the ship is amazing relaxing wonderful staff, nice food but going on the new Celebrity Eclipse next April 29th which sails from the uk which is great as I hate flying, see what that is like...
