I believe,just as the Israelites were in Egypt during the 10 plagues,the tribulation will take place in the presence of everyone,including the church!The blood on the post distinguished the Israelites from the Egyptians and therefore the seal of God will distinguish the church from the world.Rev 9;4 the locusts were commanded not to hurt those that had the seal of God on their foreheads........which means the church will still be around but the tribulations will not hurt them!

Salvation is only given by God freely it is not earned and you cant do anything to receive it but by reading the Word of God "the bible" because those who are saved are saved by Grace (of God) through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and nothing/no one else... i pray this helps

It doesn't cost anything to believe in a pre-trib rapture, I mean if it happens great:) The only problem I foresee is that if it doesn't happen and people get discouraged, they may lose their faith. It has happened to people who used to believe specific doctrines and then found out they may not have been true, they lose their faith completely.

Just ensure that your foundation is not built upon a rapture, but rather on Christ alone.

Over the course of watching these videos, including those that briefly mention the rapture, I was scratching my head as to why J.D. believed a right doctrine of the rapture is so important. I think this video provided the answer, in that pushing the rapture back into some other point in time is sort of like questioning one's own salvation and therefore the efficacy of the cross. The tribulation is the beginning of the revelation of God's just wrath from which we were saved by Jesus Christ.

@adamb20102010 - Ummm - could you please back up your statement. I watched the video & in no time ever did I see him bow down to to idol or crucifix. Nor is he anywhere near teaching or preaching Catholic doctrine. If you are refering to the pulpit because it has a cross on it, as representation of Christ's crucifiction, I think you are reading something into nothing. Catholics always have Christ on the cross. Baptist don't because He is no longer on the cross, but rather risen.

...and it started me wondering if they were right, although I've never argued on behalf of Post Trib. I'm just watching and praying, like Jesus said, that I'll be "accounted worthy to escape all that is about to happen" according to Luke 21:36. Most distressing thing is the thought that those microchips might be AVAILABLE before we're raptured! So I'm also praying that I'll remain loyal to God so I won't unknowingly take something that will turn out later to be the Mark.

Man, keep 'em coming! Never thought of some who accept Jesus as NOT being the Bride of Christ; I figured that was EVERYONE who will ever be saved! I was raised on a belief in the Rapture and I never knew that others (Christians, that is) believed otherwise until well into my adult years. When others, including my brother in law, started saying things like "Why would Jesus tell us to endure till the end if we were going to be taken away?" Or better yet, Jesus' prayer in John 17...
