@KEBokeh Actually, her triple triple on her short was downgraded. I paused it so many times that I see the quarter turn underrotation. Not only that, but I also looked at her landing, and it is hooked around instead of landing back straight.

@KEBokeh Some people get lucky and get away with it... and then there are some like Kim Yuna at this event. Oh well, she still fought through it and nonetheless, still very entertaining to watch! :D I will definitely miss her James Bond routine and her long program in that beautiful blue dress from the 2009-2010 season.

@LiVeLiKeURdying2 Actually, most skaters earn support from doing well the previous season and the current season. I've skated in US nationals and they supported the international skaters instead of those who did well sometimes.

@EscoIceSk8 I'm sorry, I don't quite undestand what you're trying to say... But as for Kim Yuna, it's not surprising if judges tend to get critical with her when it comes to her technicality. For a while, she had most believing she was invinsible until she started making mistakes... as I see it, those mistakes were rather essential for her and thankfully, she learned and grew from it by the time it was for the Vancouver Olympics. :D

@LiVeLiKeURdying2 I for one was one of those who thought Yuna was invincible and seeing those "minor" mistakes only makes me love her more because after all she is just a human being like the rest of us.....and like you I believe those mistakes have made her a better skater today.

@LiVeLiKeURdying2 Whenever a skater does well during the current grand prix or junior grand prix season, or previous season, those skaters earn support from the judges. Judges soon choose favorites the would want to win. They sometimes make unfair scores such as inflating scores, or downgrading scores.

I'm so glad brian orser is her coach b/c he felt the same pressure she's supposed to be feeling right now. On her last interview, she seemed to be handling it very well. Whatever the outcome, you are always the best yuna!

Well, except for the jumps she delivered very well her beautiful program. Even her not perfect jumps looks great to feel the great program. Only Yu Na can deliver the difficult program with the great technics and the music interpretation.

Yu Na is the legendary lady figure skater ever!

Great performance. Not perfect but enough for a redemption.  The commentator summed it up well here. Yuna is inevitably human. We learn and grow through mistakes in our lives and that's what we all witnessed Yuna struggling through recently. Her biggest rival is herself...how she will cope with the mounting pressures and expectations. Hang in there. Skate to enjoy...skate for yourself.
