I have the magnetic one, and i hate that the fisheye edges isnt visible in video mode, but why is it on yours? is there a difference between the 2 fisheyes or do you have a different iphone? i have iphone 4s.
@SkateEverydayyy go into mesages and press the little camera on the left side then press take photo or video.you will notice that you can see the black edges on the side in video mode. i hope i helped.

@MartinEdits I don't see any manufacturer's name in the box even in the small piece of manual.. no label of made in china either, but the build quality is good.
