Better quality with your Zi8 than the other...You will find a better quality with your Zi8 in 720p @ 60 fps...Then you get with the 1080P...If you are doing any action...Or Panning.....The 1080P will be Great quality if you have it mounted still...on a Tri pod....If you want to take a quik video with real good quality on your Zi8....But don't want it to take long to upload on You Tube..........Try Editing in the WVGA Mode.............Uploads Quik.......& You Don't Lose much of your High Quality

I agree, 720p is a nice compromise and personally I can not tell a difference with 720p vs 1080p on my tv..thanks for the vid...
