Opera Mobile vs Symbian browser

opera also dont hav it...

Now nokia comes with touch ui, so browsing is more easy.

this is a very old video!! (2 years!) symbian didn't have flash back then.

And i agree, touch UI these days is better, but not good enough... I really like nokia (still use my n900 everyday) but am really thinking about switching to a Desire Z one of these days... nokia just doesnt cut it anymore. (hardware AWESOME (n8/e7) but software is just a little sluggish compared to the rest..)

opera is not so good; its a littlebit slower imo if u install it on memorycard. on my N80,N81 i have not so much free memory for opera on phonememory and it brings often memory error. so im using safari because can download all files i want to download. but now with my N95 im using instead of opera the UCWEB Browser... really its faster than all and have a superb downloadmanager! im not advertising anything, this is my opinion. UCWEB & Safari FTW^^

Symbian browser has native flash 3 support now N95-2 v15 so I think it outweighs the rest :P

Don't get me wrong I like iPhone and touchscreens as well, and on top of that my device also has GPS, WiFi, music recognizer - sharazam FTW - (as your HTC probably does, I don't know).

That wasn't my point tho, it's hard to not find a recent phone w/o those functions nowadays but still I want to use it at 100% w/o being worried about some sh1tty unlucky factor (ie lack of power) and why not, free working firmware updates are not bad.

Just as personal preference I wouldn't like a 100% touchscreen phone even if I find them cool indeed, what I'd really love too see is an hybrid phone with TC and keys.

I like the Iphone but only as an Ipod (video music phone and a browser that only does veiwing) I got an HTC touch Vougue so I have a phone, nintendo's, videogames, guitar tuner, synthesizer, spreadsheerts, email,sms,txtmsg, and pretty much any thing else a fully functional computer can do!

iPod touch is for kids that cant afford a data plan. The Phone feature is way more than a phone. Because the ipod touch is what it is, and ipod it doesnt have a cell network chip. With the iPhone you have the internet WHEREVER you go. Whats the point of surfing the net on your ipod when you have to stay near a computer for wi-fi...why not just use computer with bigger screen...lol...iPhone is the real deal. No need to carry 2 devices.

Yes because the coolness of a touchscreen browser/device brings without any doubt iPhone on the top AMIRITE?

I need a phone, a gaming device a camera and handy appliations, I'm glad I bought my piece of crap since I don't have to kill it and myself to unlock it into a SEMI functional telephone, not to mention they make you PAY yo upgrade it to a bugged and not working firmware (see 1.13)...
