Dragon Age 2 was a very good game. Although the story wasn't as good as origins, it well than made up for it in it's combat. Combat in origins was boring and to slow, I mean I am supposed to be some bad ass hero. Only criticism I have for DA2 is that the entire game is in one city, I liked the open feel of Orgins.

Enemies are appearing from nothing and they blow up when you kill them. Weapons don't have weight. No actual main line just random quests. All I see is a fucking lazy job. Nothing new or good. Do not tell me to make better, because I'm not a fuckin' game designer. It's not my job. It was their job to make a good game.

Guy tow comments below me I work for gamestop I don't know were ur preordering things but the $5 u pit down at gamestop goes to the over all price I don't know what the tax % is were u live but here a game u reserver cost $65.08 but when u come in to pay it off after that $5 u pay $60.08 if u don't preorder it u pay $65.08 there's no addition charge either way overall u pay the same price it's just the preorder makes sure u get the game and any extra content that comes with the game

I strongly believe that preorders are just an extra tax for those can't patiently wait the game to be released when it will cost less, and that you should read reviews and watch gameplay of it from the internet before buying it, but I have complete confidence that Bioware is making this game this worth buying, so I preordered this game anyway. if they make a third game i hope they will add the race choice again, but with voice like in DA 2. also with different voice cast for the different races so that they can sound more different. and i kind of also want to play as Sten's race (can't remember what it's called atm). so more races :)

Oh sweet they took a unique strategy combat oriented game that has a history that extends all the way to BG1 and turned it into a cookie cutter hack and slash fable and assassins creed like game. @JoeC38 You can create a character, there are defaults which you can't change (i.e the ones we see in trailers and screenshots) but you can also make you own like in Origins except for not being able to play as an elf or dwarf.
I just hope they don't get rid of a lot of the "RPG" that made dragon age amazing, With mass effect 2 they removed quite a lot of customization options and side quests and went for a more plot based, story driven RPG with less choices and a more gameplay polished game, Mass effect 2 was amazing but removing a lot of the customization did "dumb" it down for me, I hope they stay true with dragon age and keep the customization, the hundreds of skills and the many companions, don't do another MA2!
even if i hated the look of this game id still get it in respect for DA1 but this beats my expectations to a gory death. I hope they still have sub classes like the blood mage and the shadow.
I hope there is more armour that that as for some reason I just love it when you go agints some crappy bandits in leather armour with petty knife aginst the player with a huge broadsword and templar armour.

@dragonforks93 Ish. It's still turned based in disguise except the disguise is much better, much more fluid and apparently when you press a button something actually happens rather than waiting for the character to shuffle into position before doing it's "epic" move.

Now i've seen this... my god it looks badass. Most of the characters are british (COZ OUR ACCENTS ROCK) the graphics.. fighting.. story.. characters, everything looks amazing, hope its longer than da 1 though

I think I would choose Scrotum surgery over being being born into the next generation of people. No body knows what devotions means anymore. If this is the case with bioware then BLIZZARD > BIOWARE hands down. At least SC2 still is the best game to come in the past 5 years.

Oh sweet they took a unique strategy combat oriented game that has a history that extends all the way to BG1 and turned it into a cookie cutter hack and slash fable and assassins creed like game. We already have games like this, but there was only one DA game...wtf :( I be sad now. "We don't want to combat to feel like a chess game" <---where does this guy live? I want to kill him. Why not just say you don't want a dragon age game anymore?

@JoeC38 You can create a character, there are defaults which you can't change (i.e the ones we see in trailers and screenshots) but you can also make you own like in Origins except for not being able to play as an elf or dwarf.

I just hope they don't get rid of a lot of the "RPG" that made dragon age amazing, With mass effect 2 they removed quite a lot of customization options and side quests and went for a more plot based, story driven RPG with less choices and a more gameplay polished game, Mass effect 2 was amazing but removing a lot of the customization did "dumb" it down for me, I hope they stay true with dragon age and keep the customization, the hundreds of skills and the many companions, don't do another MA2!

@dragonforks93 Ish. It's still turned based in disguise except the disguise is much better, much more fluid and apparently when you press a button something actually happens rather than waiting for the character to shuffle into position before doing it's "epic" move.
