Screw the environmental movement. Make prisoners pick up trash on the side of the highway, that solves that. Whats wrong with littering? I mean noones going to get hurt if I toss a little gum wrapper or a piece of paper or a cigarette butt or a couple of soda cans out of my car windows. Also it saved me some money to toss that old icebox out in the woods instead of paying to get rid of it. I was just joking about that last part
actually littering is very bad, cigarette butts are the top contributor to littering there are over 30 billion on the ground, the toxins from the left over tabacco seeps into the soil and is very harmful for plants, which produce oxygen for us..if we keep doing it is just a giant chain reaction
but just try not to im not saying go crazy and dedicate your life to it just do your part :)
The nicotine will break down before the polyester in the filters, nicotine is also used as a pesticide, it kills bugs better than plants. Also I think making littering legal would create many job oppurtunities.
Even if global warming isnt real, the fact of the matter is: Being wasteful is inefficient!
Riding your bike is less expensive than driving (and helps tone your flabby buttocks) Recycling litter will help the environment (and make your neighborhood nicer), etc
So if we stop being so wasteful at least the world will be cleaner (and youll have a bit more cash in your pocket)!

I have been picking up recyclable litter, and I even found cans that were decades old. you know the ones with the tear drop-shaped holes. I still recycled them too. New or old, the still get recycled by me. :)
I think this is really good video. It is short but to the point and tells you the basics about how littering is bad for our environment. I hate going sightseeing at places meant to be beautiful and seeing them covered with trash!
Yes littering is really wrong cost, millions of dollars every year in sanitation cost, enforyed littering patrols, laws etc.

reduce, recycle, re-use, AND GO WITHOUT.
keep the lights off, unplug appliances that have a standby. use water wisely even if you live in a place of abundant water.
