Oh and the LPGA is a great one also. I live in Alabama so I lot of mullets. I have long hair down to my ass. I tell people if you're gonna have long hair don't get fads just go traditional. I would shave my head before I have a mullet or the "Skullet" that's balding guys with long hair like Hulk Hogan or the guy I see when I run.
I shit you not. There was a guy I saw the other day sporting a mallet with hair as long as mine. My hair is down to my ass. It was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. I almost had to say something to him.
I still like Rome now, but I understand what you are saying. I guess since he's 45 now, he just wants to be mature and professional and places too much emphasis on guests while phasing out phone calls because he no longer thinks his clones are funny. Not only that, but his rise of fame, status, and sponsors has obviosuly made him rich, so that's obviously gotten to his head.
If I could, I would love to listen to one of his full shows from say 1995. I'd probably love it much more.
My guess is 2001. He mentions Ryan ("Cryin'") Leaf getting "broken off" - in other words, being cut from whatever NFL team he was warning the bench in at the time, & hasn't been back since.
