I am British and I think that the reunification of Germany is one of the best things to happen to Europe in the past 100 years. @Praloyindia I don't know what to tell you about that. It doesn't seem to me like India and Pakistan are in the same situation east and west Germany was in. If you want to be united, perhaps you should try to address the few things that make you similar, rather than the things that set you apart. I believe the partition was intended to secure peace and avoid violence, which has obviously failed to do.

you should really look in the history of communism... What you are talking about is Stalinism, which wasn't Lenin.. look into Trotskyism... he is the closest to Lenin political ideas. Stalin in fact abolished many of Lenin ideas and social structures and created his own economy planning and created a totalitarian regime... Stalin was the evil bastard and ruined the communism good name by creating a dictatorship Marx-Leninism ideology! which all new communism were built upon. do your research!

Listen, communism isn't evil. you see,here is how power works. the entity itself is not evil, just those who use it. forms of government are the exact same thing, however and whoever uses it is evil or not ,depending on how and why do do the things they do while using it. Lenin was a great leader who was trying to free Russia from a horrible system that was pretty much far worse than the americans faced in the 1700's with king george lll. But this is just the bunch of nostalgic Easterner's who have problems with unenmployment and feel a lack of social security and some west german idiots who say reunification cost too much money, being the main reason for a loss of Germany's wealth, declining from place 3 of the world's wealthiest nations to place 18 (statistically).
Even if unification is finished formally, it won't be finished de facto for years.
