  • hha in deutsch GFS über den film gehaltn und ne 1,7 :PP wuhu :)

  • super schön :)

  • Wow. "Wenn es passiert" von den Helden unglaublich toll kombiniert mit einem der bewegendsten Filme ♥

  • It's nice to see that so many Good Bye Lenin clips are filled with international comments. Btw you can only guess that but the lyrics in this video match the pictures nicely e.g.: 1:35 "wenn sich dabei mein Verstand verliert" = "even when i lose my mind"

  • @sxenetwork

The name of the movie ist "Goodbye Lenin"

  • The actor looks like Zac Efron, haha.

  • wir sind helden?

  • I WANT COMMUNISM

  • what is the name of the movie?

  • Muy buen vídeo, de una muy buena película. Viva la URSS!!!

  • GDR forever

  • @SchwarzeGarde1972 the ddr was a dictatorship so dont talk shit

  • This is a poignadiffnt reflection of the evil that humans can and do bring to ourselves, & continue to do by thought and dead. It is so tragic that Germany has had to pay the price of the evil of Socialism from both end of its wicked spectrum. National and Soviet, two flavours of the same poisonous witches brew concocted by Marx; the most wicked man the world has sired. I pray that this resident evil philosophy can one day be consigned to history.

  • it's sad that you take your anger against lenin. lenin was a great politician against all type of russian aggression on other lands.

  • Lenin was a mass murderer like Gadalfi, Saddam, Hitler and Genghis Khan...

There have been and are and will be evil men.

Lenin was an opportunist leader who was evil

Do not mislead yourself with propaganda.

Bad is Bad always - murder was murder even then - tyranny was tyranny.

No five year plan can was away evil, nor should be permitted to do so.

Let’s move on and regret the evils of the past.

Getting clean is not achieved by rolling in the dirt.

Lets make today and tomorrow better

  • @forcesofdiversity errr I think you mean Stalin.

  • @forcesofdiversity Lenin was one of the most honest people who ever lived. He, Marx and Ho Chi Minh where incredible men who fought for a honest cause. What the U.S. and all other infected country's do is much worse, they make people mind about the most stupid things in the world, while we should mind about the Billion people who starve everyday.

  • @meneerkeesoost How in the heck did Marx fight for anything? He stowed away in exile.

  • @TheXan23 . He fought his own war in writing a book, fighting is not always about thumping one another. ;)

  • @meneerkeesoost ...I fail to see how you can compare him to the likes of Ho Chi Minh and Lenin.... They were both men who led revolution and government. However Marx merely intellectualised an idea that has been around in other forms since the start of government as a whole. That would be like me saying Darwin was "fighting" for an honest cause by writing "The Origin of the species".

Fighting a war for a cause such as what Lenin and Ho Chi Minh have done is on a completely different level.

  • Comment removed

  • @meneerkeesoost no, you are right in including marx.

'fighting' doesn't have to mean leading revolutions and civil wars. it just means you defend your belief, or in marx's case, bring it forward.

  • Comment removed

  • @meneerkeesoost I asume you have lived in a communism regime or your parents so you can say those things abotu those murdurers. What Hitler did is nnot even comperable what Lenin achieved, befor him and Stalin afterwords. You sir have no idea what are you talking about.

  • @Edgarssprogis I haven't, I'm from Holland. Lenin was a hero, he did help the people in Russia, Stalin was a dictator, Hitler was a frustrated smartass, etc. The real bad guys are rich kapitalists who exploit people everyday, which is maybe worse than killing them. Only they don't reach the 8 o'clock news because it isn't important, everybody knows, nobody cares, I hate that, it's frustrating. You should get a job or something by the way, in stead of reacting on comments of months ago

  • @meneerkeesoost So if you havent dont talk about it, about things you clearly dont know a thing. Have good day and a good one. :)

  • @Edgarssprogis o but you know everything about it, that I hear....

  • @Edgarssprogis I feel nothing good to Lenin, he was a typical leftist maniac. Now such persons have become liberals. But there were a lot of good and heroic deeds archieved by the people under the communist regime. Those who says 'Hitler was better then [any] communist' simply abuses the memory of the honest people who thought themselves communists.

  • @Domety exactly :)

  • @forcesofdiversity

lenin is COOL and YOU KNOW IT

  • @forcesofdiversity

Lenin? stalin yes! but lenin? people got killed in the revolution...but hey ho

  • im spanish and this summer im going to germany, i cant wait to go i just cant! germans are very awesome people, btw.

  • @FlowGirls93 I'm happy to see that you haven't been hurt about what i said (i hope you speak inglish, because i don't know how to say it in spanish). I travelled in Germany the last year, and i saw this country was easier to live than France, and germans are coolest and nicer than frenchs... But on walls, i saw the nazi cross (and when i was in Spain, i saw it too!!). Pero estoy feliz ver que podemos hablar "even if" no somos totalemente de acuerdo :D Vaja suerte por tu viajo! Vielen dank!

  • @VladmkvFR1 yes i can understand you (: maybe i have this opinion cause here in spain there was a nacionalist dictadury too during 1939-1975 and although i wasnt born right there we all know how difficult is to be again in a good situation... anyways, thank you (: be happy!

  • One of the best movies I've ever seen!! Really. And i'm totally in love with the song. It is because of this video that I discovered Wir sind Helden <3 I'm quebecer (canada). I loooove germans bands like silbermond, christina stürmer and Nena <3 Germany's the best (y)

  • love this german song. fits so well with movie clip

  • It is so hard not to get emotional watching this movie.

  • Sir(s): If I may, at this Date and Time, state here and attest to the full how that I want yet to prove Very Useful "Not In Building My House Too Close to 'the Wall'." In truth, there exist walls that are Very New and Very Old, working for proper use of Physical Security, per se. In this Day & Age, Good People are still able " to find their niche." As the poets say, "Good Fences Make Good Neighbors;" "The Most Beautiful Women are the Older Women;" "The Good Spirits

    Never Leave Good Homes."

  • reminds me of my first kiss

    and exchange

    ofcourse...

  • translation with best regards :)

    earthlingsoft(POINT)net/ssp/blog/2005/07/wir_sind_helden_in_english#5891

  • Good Bye MUBARAK ?!!!

    Greetings from Sicily

  • lol gerade ziemlich kuschelbedürftig wer möchte mit mir chilln hab auch ne web cam

  • schön :)

  • i have no idea what this girl is singing but i like it and if someone could give me an translation that would be fantastic :D

  • @littlelakefairies

search for "wir sind helden-wenn es passiert" i think there is a video here on youtube with english subs :P otherwise use google translator (is not perfect i know but it gives you a idea)

  • Of course, as soon as Germany reunified, the first major action they took on the world front was to destroy Yugoslavia and all the horrible wreckage that resulted from their illegal actions just as they did during WWII. I don't think that German leaders have really atoned for the past of their predecessors.

  • All roads lead to communism.

  • The worst event of 20th century from nations was the fall of wall at 1989. Today, workers pay very expensive the fall of sosialism. However, the struggle of classes does not stop ever. The revolution of october will light untill the next revolution of worker's class

    Viva USSR!

  • @Robespieros1789 i see you are a socialist...

  • @Robespieros1789

When the workers earn more for doing less...just by being more efficient....and have a better life because of it....

.......then the revolution becomes a crime against the greater good.

Just a minority attempting force against the majority.

......and we all know how the 21st century deals with that!

  • @Bra23we12 you are anti-communist and you are without information about USSR. USSR workers earn more and they done Russia of Tsarism the country with third bigest manufacturing development in the world in 15 years. No unemployment, 7 hours and 5 days working, free health, free education, high-level cinema. It has proved that capitalists and their supporters are useless for the production and they do nothing other than earn money from worker's work!

  • @Robespieros1789 Don't spend your time explaining what Communism is really, some people have their brains washed by capitalists.

  • @Robespieros1789

thats the reason why ussr still exist :) just one big lie based on rent money. like greece.

  • I am British and I think that the reunification of Germany is one of the best things to happen to Europe in the past 100 years. It is sad how much the German people have had to suffer from the historical events that happened in the 20th century and it is nice being able to have them as reliable friends again!

  • @lotsofcooki3s

It's sad to think that Germans have become "reliable" now.

It sort of says....they were'nt before......but everythings OK.....cause they are now.

How awful that people are still making judgements based on the events of the 19th century.

It seems a little like being allowed to visit Mongolia and telling a local that you no longer blame him for the murder of half of Europe and Asia........and that he's become......"reliable".

  • @Bra23we12 Yes they weren't reliable when they entered a conflict with us, especilly in WW2 after violating agreements the agreements set at the treaty of Munich. They also were not reliable when they broke the Versailles treaty regarding re-armament repeatedly. They elected Hitler, nobody forced him down their throat, so they have to take part of the responsibility for what has happened. And the same German people have shown that they can be reliable friends after 1945.

  • @lotsofcooki3s

    Who wasn't reliable?

You remember him that well? You remember his name, his appearance....this paragon of a single society?

You may tell me you never met him...you only heard of him from others. You may tell me you judged his worth from what was written. You might admit you never lived in Germany.....had never been a part of it's culture and history.

    Yet you have an opinion?

    Opinions are a good thing.

    ...I'm pleased to meet you.

  • @lotsofcooki3s

When you say "He" "Them" and "They".....who are you talking about?

Surely you aren't ascribing the beliefs of a generation to it's children?

I'm British.....so that would be like me saying....."Don't trust the Americans...they're traitorous curs".

Get real....Old history is simply that....old.

We are all a long way from the 19th and 20th centurys.

What fools we would be to think today is like yesterday....or tommorow.

  • @Bra23we12 No I am not talking about a generation or 2 or 100. I am talking about humanity. The humanity of the situation is that we are also to blame for what happened in WW2. Firstly, we put the Weimar Republic into a corner and accused the German people of bearing the sole belligerence and responsibility for WW1, then we made sure they were starving, then we elected that idiot Chamberlain who was going to sell his mother only to avoid entering a war. We betrayed them as much as they did.

  • @lotsofcooki3s Iam an indian specifically a bengali your thought is good ,I like that but inspite of that sir that what is the fault of the peoples of India? Why we are suffered so much from the partition of our country India (into India.Pakistan and Bangladesh)done by your forefathers please answer us........

  • @Praloyindia

it is because of ghandis pacifism. had the indian people(s) fought the british like the algerians fought the french, there would be a marker of suffering which would lift up indian patriotism forever.

  • @Praloyindia I don't know what to tell you about that. It doesn't seem to me like India and Pakistan are in the same situation east and west Germany was in. If you want to be united, perhaps you should try to address the few things that make you similar, rather than the things that set you apart. I believe the partition was intended to secure peace and avoid violence, which has obviously failed to do.

  • @lotsofcooki3s

Funny you say because it is a fact the British government was completely against the re-unification of Germany.

  • @ahmed337799 In case you havent noticed I am not the spokesperson for the British Government. I am my own.

  • @lotsofcooki3s

I brought up the government because you said "it's nice being able to have them as reliable friends again", which I assume you mean as political friends.

  • @lotsofcooki3s

They suffer? Don't you remember why Germany was divided? so that they wouldn't be able to start a war again which was considered a great thread back in those days.

  • @lotsofcooki3s: Actually most of the suffering was caused by germans... or they were the reason behind... or helped to pave the way towards it...

  • @malbert34 well i have to agree with conmadben although i am german

  • Супер фильм! HAllo aus Ukraine! Salut les Ukraine! Big Hello from Ukraine !!!!!

  • I love this movie because I know how it all changed in Poland! Many communists and regular people couldn't deal with changes too (cultural shock). Greetings from Poland!

  • @0masakra0

And we will never forget Lech Wałęsa and his great contributions to the fall of the wall!

Greetings from Germany to Poland :-)

  • @Lintflas Cool! It is 'miraculous' that after 60 years we can 'shake our hands' as a friends not the enemies ;-). I know that German-Polish history is bloody and hateful but let's make peace! Ich komme aus Warschau von Polen :P! 1989 - Goodbye Lenin!

  • @0masakra0

Of course we will never forget our responsibility for what happened in the past, and there's still a lot of work to do, but I'm absolutely convinced that the relations between Poland and Germany will flourish in the future.

Finally we should realise that we're one big family. Peace from Berlin to Warsaw :)

  • Germans really make good movies.

  • 1:10 <--- da sieht der voll süß aus. *-*

  • whats so wrong with Lenin?

  • @iownage4youi He created the evil that is communism

  • you should really look in the history of communism... What you are talking about is Stalinism, which wasn't Lenin.. look into Trotskyism... he is the closest to Lenin political ideas. Stalin in fact abolished many of Lenin ideas and social structures and created his own economy planning and created a totalitarian regime... Stalin was the evil bastard and ruined the communism good name by creating a dictatorship Marx-Leninism ideology! which all new communism were built upon. do your research!

  • @johnthesencond that was Stalin...Lenin wanted to have the best for Russia but he failed...

  • @johnthesencond "He created the evil that is communism " - XD, not really

  • @johnthesencond Hello,I am an inocent 5 year old wondering what is Communism. Can you please tell me what it is? I want to know if I think its evil.

Look kid, just give us what little you know about Communism and history itself.Lenin was a good man. Stalin was an evil one and Trotsky was a good man too.

  • @plutonicmind9 dude just look at their propoganda, the way they surpress freedom of speech, the KGB secret police(SS maybe, hmm), and their ideas of conquering the world with communism(Korea and Vietnam)

  • @anthony25ification Propaganda started with Stalin (and yes,the propaganda was of him and Lenin). They suppress freedom of speech,to much freedom is bad, just look @ USA.The KGB? What about the CIA,they do same things just don't tell you. And doesn't Capitalism try to conquer the world? *hint,USA's visits to Cuba,Colombia,Venezuela,Communist Countries, etc*

I know Communism is not possible, but it is the best IDEA on the table. As to be put into practice,Capitalism and Communism suck the same.

  • @plutonicmind9 then what does not suck

  • @anthony25ification A mix of all political ideas's best points.

Note: I did not say a mix of all political ideas. I said a mix of their best points.

  • @anthony25ification they don't surpress freedom of speech. that was stalin stupid. lenin was all for freedom and equality. Stalin was the jerk, and who are you to talk about propoganda? you probably wouldn't even know about russia and communism if it weren't for the fact that a bunch of ignorant americans fed your mind with hateful garbage.

  • @johnthesencond

Listen, communism isn't evil. you see, here is how power works. the entity itself is not evil, just those who use it. forms of government are the exact same thing, however and whoever uses it is evil or not ,depending on how and why do do the things they do while using it. Lenin was a great leader who was trying to free Russia from a horrible system that was pretty much far worse than the americans faced in the 1700's with king george lll. Stalin was evil though. blame him :D

  • @zexion4real dude shut up, see the movie ''Red Dawn". it shows commie bastards for what they really are

  • @anthony25ification

you know what, thats just a movie. These "damn commies" did the same thing any other nation did when they occuppied an area. even americans acted violently against others, and rape women. the only difference is that everyone hated the russians and their actions were under a larger spotlight. so YOU SHUT UP!

  • @zexion4real ok I'm sorry its just that I saw movie for the first time yesterday and I just got so pissed off that I took it out on real life.

  • @anthony25ification

Its no big deal. I understand how seeing how bad a situation is can do that to ya. i watched The movie Ghandi and i got kind of pissed at the British... the kind of part is because

    1) what do you really expect from imperialistic hate mongerers

    2) i'm part british so i can't really say they suck.

anyways back on subject, its no big deal so don't sweat it :D

  • @anthony25ification See the movie "Letters of Iwo Jima" or "Capitalism,a love story"...it shows those american bastards for what they really are

  • check out the remix on my page

  • Der beste Film, was existiert :),

    Die Musik ist auch cool

  • The regim of RDG was a joke comparative with others comunist countries!

  • I can't get enough of this video, it's so well timed and just wonderful.

  • what's the name of the song?

    wie heisst dieses Lied?

    ¿cómo se llama la canción?

    xD q mamón

  • wenn es passiert von "Wir sind helden" , ein deutsche gruppe :)

  • I love this movie. And I love Berlin. For my 18th birthday my sister gave me a weekend in Berlin with her. It was such a cool town and i've wanted to go back so bad it hurts ever since. i don't have a job right now but as soon as i can afford it i am going to berlin. liebe es!

  • Conguratulation Germany for 20 years anniversary of unification.

    Germany is one.

But I surprised at 15% of german want wall in Berlin again. Seriously??

  • It is 13 % actually. But yes, unfortunately it is serious.

But this is just the bunch of nostalgic Easterner's who have problems with unenmployment and feel a lack of social security and some west german idiots who say reunification cost too much money, being the main reason for a loss of Germany's wealth, declining from place 3 of the world's wealthiest nations to place 18 (statistically).

Even if unification is finished formally, it won't be finished de facto for years.

  • we're still paying reperation for the east...

the belin wall scale is complete abstract. if real the questioned persons were probably all old people from the east

  • nope... who is telling shit like that?

  • Japanese media.

  • @tyogh127

those are the massacistic germans who like being abused by russians. i know i do :D
