I heard the Mavericks in Churchills Pub in little Hatii in miami in the 80's Crying Shame was filmed in the Pub they were very gracious and humble after their stardom imagine country music in Miami much less Little Haiti Dave Daniels owner of Churchhill Pub rocks he gave them a venue

I saw The Mavericks and many other great acts at casinos in Tunica in the late 90's. These guys were a blast in concert and I sure do miss the days of driving over for shows like theirs. Thanks for the post and the trip down memory lane.

@SuperSpank111 Yeah! And since I posted that, we've done that quickstep (or foxtrot as you say in the US. And we've rhumba'd to "Crying For You/Palabras " and "Something Tells Me" the guy is brilliant to dance to, Jive, cha-cha-cha, waltz, slow foxtrot, quickstep .Not every band is right on the beat.

They are terrific - Raul puts so much of whatever emotion the song requires

Their were my favorite band too. Raul is and always will be my favorite.

Wow- music doesn't get any better than this. Raul has such a wonderful voice and this song is terrific. The band is fabulous - perfect smooth blending of all the instruments. I first saw Raul and the Mavericks do this in a video shown on one of the country music TV shows in Nashville when the song first came out. That video is fantastic - the guys really had fun in it - they all had a part - and I wish I had taped it back then. I've got to play this one again here. Thanks for posting- Paula
