Hey if you didn't read the Phil Luciano article a while ago, Willy is off the streets and living in a nursing home and is doing pretty good from what Phil had to say. He has put on wight and is even taking psychiatric drugs for an undisclosed mental condition. However, Phil did say that Willy would like to go back to the streets and be free again and get wasted. Great article and it cleared up a lot of rumors about his life and his current condition. Love you Willy!
i remember willie walking downtown peoria by the adult bookstore when i was 7, 8 years old. im 39 now and for bieng "homeless" willie looks healthier than i am! i do know despite what ppl say he actually is quite wealthy...veteran checks that never get spent. (who needs money when you live off whatever you find in the dumpsters...and i dont mean rats. friends of mine keep me in the loop ...he WEARS road kill for shock effect but he eats better than half the salvation army.
I remember Baby Bro when I was a child I would see him foraging for food and living off nature.
He never hurt anyone; he was what we called a wino. I remember he came to eat at one of the church womens dinners. He enjoyed all the food and was normal but as soon as he finished eating he got up walked toward the door and said, I thanks all yall church women for feeding me and now my belly is full but what I want to know is which one of yall is going to fuck me now. LOL
The interviews with the female shop owner and the the fat black guy sitting down leaning on the yellow post are the types of interviews you should have had more of in this Doc. The guy with the GUESS sports tee said what we all really know about the man. All the rest is PURE conjecture.
I believe he does what he does because he want to show the world the absurdity of their own human condition.
Thank you Nick for making this, a very well made, simple and impartial documentary, which gave me an insight to this very enigmatic figure and the people of Peoria. Very worth me waiting an extra 20 minutes till bed time. It seems though that this man is not so misunderstood, from the things your subjects say about him. Thanks again.

So why don't he move into the woods and live with the plants he loves so much?
He don't like the concrete.
