Man, I don't know how such small fights are so awesome, like 5 sec. fights but they're great, I'm not a big hockey fan, don't know why not, I love their hits and the fights. I love that the ref's allow it till they hit the ice, I went to a game once with my Uncle, rival teams, no fights :'(. The next game my Uncle went to, without me of coarse, there were like 8 fights :'( I was so upset, but the game I went to someone went through the glass. what kind of sport is that!? :P
because hockey was started in the early 1900s when they diddn't wear any pads or helmets, and they were shooting pucks at each other and knocking out teeth, and breaking bones, and it was known as a mans game... and if a captain of the team gets hit from behind against a wall someone else would hit the person who hit the captain, and normally tempers would flare and fights would break out
this stuff is insane! can't believe it's allowed. not only that but the fact no one piles in to help out their mate? I could never play hockey cos the first time it kicked off I'd be straight in there getting banned for life. Mental :/
