Well i disagree, and i am also 100% Iranians (whatever that means), and I love Iran as well, and i read the Qur'an as well, and i also studies different religions, and i also don't ike religion, however i believe in a universal energy, and you are right religion limites Iranians, but it also does good, the story of Imam Hossein unites, and strengthen the people, remember in the protest, they scream Allah o Akbar, and Ya Hossein, because they believe these forces can help them in their goals.

Iran is a peaceful country, you can see even when the enemy attack a Shia mosque in Iraq, or Zahedan, or when American shoots down an Iran Air flight, Iran does not look for revenge in the same way, it is peaefu, and at the same time, ready to defende itself, just like Hossein did, it takes lessons from Hossein, he becomes the role model, if Irnaians followed a Gandi type leader, they could be destroyed by their enemies, for being weak, and unprepared, it#'s too dangerous in Middle east.
