  • this is so amazing >< asodimasdmaos!

  • Yeh, everyone can see that it's fake... Charmeleon is red... Never played Pokémon?

  • wauw, awesome.

  • tc

  • @demaster1337 inderdaad anders was ik hier niet gekomen haha

  • first class !!! very convincing !!! : ))

  • Render Time ? 10 Days ? ;)

  • Everyone can know that the video is a fake without even telling him that

Color of the chameleon and the way walked not nature

  • @mloven2100 It´s not a chamelion.

  • what camera did you use?

  • Wow amazing!!!!!!

  • Sorry to seem like a n00b, but how do you get the hand in front of the tuatara? I can only get the 3d in front of the video (IE 3D overlayed on top). Thanks for help in advance!

  • @Blueteak55 I mask out my hand frame by frame from the original footage. The i compose it on the top.

  • best best best best

  • amazing!

  • SUPER SUPER SUPER

  • Nice job, but - you've got the scale wrong, thats an iguana size lizard, tuataras are much smaller

  • wish the animation was better but other than that I thought this was awesome

  • Bravo

  • Omfg that looks awesome

  • ambient Occlusion can mix with global illumination??

  • awesome.. courious what skills you got

  • everything but the animation is good...the lizard looks like it's gliding or floating when it walks...it doesn't look like the body is supporting any weight especially for a lizard that fat...the body should sag and the legs should flex and spring with every step...

  • what kind of camera brand do you use?

  • Very nice model and animation when the Tuatara wasn't moving, but once it started walking across the wall... It looked a little too mechanical. The body could probably use a lot more movement. Very nice compositing though!

  • thats freaking coooool! great work! =) Im adding u and subbing

  • @ArtOfAlternation

you can't animate in zbrush silly ;P!

  • @ArtOfAlternation No, Cinema 4d.

  • you are awesome man keep going

  • really really impressive !!!! :-) subbed you

  • amazing job! no flaws

  • incredible, simply splendid.

  • #OMG!!! VERY NICE WORK!!

  • really impressive!

  • render time: 3 weeks

  • @AtactHD 6 days on 4 computers.

  • @DepthEngine what do you mean 4 computers? and did it really take 6 straight days to render?

  • @AtactHD I have splittet the render passes. For example the GI-pass (0:57) rendered on a single compter, because it toke a lot of time. All other passes i have used the NET-Rendering on two Mac pro computers and a laptop. Then i composed the single passes in After Effects together.

  • Oh wow this is one of the bests i have seen yet!

  • amazing! syntheyes rulez!

  • Brilliant job.

  • WOW How long took the rendering =DD

  • briliant and easy at once

  • well done depthengine! don't listen to neigh-sayers they only say stuff just to get attention. I thank you for making the breakdown video. Just got syntheyes, can't wait to start using it. Someday I would love to build a model like that, but it's probably a long way till then, looks complicated. Very well done! love it! love the realism.

  • incredible!

  • fuck thats mean as

  • I think this is a fake. You used a real animal

  • @bjorncaroll That is highly unlikely. Tuataras in real life are rather sluggish and docile. I don't think they would usually run around like that. And really, it doesn't look that real. It's faker than the kangaroo in Kangaroo Jack.

  • @daeodon I think you are the kangaroo in Kangaroo Jack.

  • @DepthEngine And why do you say that?

  • @daeodon What ?

  • TUTORIAL!!!

  • you are the man

  • this is inspiring since I just bought synth eyes! I think some barely audible claws tapping, and the tail dragging against the wall would add another layer of realism...

  • please help you no the part on the video where there are pyrmids tracking how did you do that part in syntheyes as i cand find 1 tutorial on that

  • lovely

  • hey a giant lizar! Let's poke it! :D

    Stunning work man!

  • no rotation on pelvis?

  • This is amazing. HOW!

  • Something doesn't quite feel right with the movement around the hind legs/belly area. But none-the-less I agree with the others, it's come up well. You've done a good job!

  • this is incredible!!

  • That's amazing!

  • Coooooll super well done

  • haha that was great!

  • Well done.

  • ok,this was simply great.

  • amazing video dude, very good work!

    C4D ftw! :)

  • da fehlen noch die soundfx von dem tier (schleifen)

    aber sonst... mega geil ;D

  • Wundervoll! Schöne Arbeit!!

  • amazing, good job

  • Hahaha. THis is sick.
