  • Awesome! Loving Jimmy's sax section!

  • This is beautiful. Thank you very much

  • I love Fred Astaire and Ginger. Thank you for your recommendations!

  • When I was looking for LETS FACE THE MUSIC AND DANCE, all I could find was the video part with Nat King Cole or some other singing Fred's part. I could not find one piece that had Fred's voice anywhere. While I do love Nat King Cole, I felt shortchanged because Fred's singing is the originaaal, but was nowhere I could find it.

  • Check out the channel for user CONN1974. It has the 1935 version of "Let's Face the Music and Dance" by Fred Astaire.

  • I looked but could not find it. Alas.

  • Youtube won't let me post a direct link to it but you can get there if you copy and paste the following ID number into the search box:

  • Well, that's the music. Many thanks. However, is there a posting that has both the music and the dancing, or is that somehow politically incorrect?

  • What a neat bunch of pictures to go with this song. Great idea; very well done. I enjoy Ginger's singing -- can't believe they dubbed her in Professional Sweetheart.

  • Thanks. Ginger has a beautiful singing voice. This is one of the few numbers she was allowed to perform in her movies with Fred solo and did a wonderful job. The following dance, of which, you showed clips of was magnificent.

  • Thank you, Rosiey!

  • May I add also...

I enjoyed your music PHOTOaction scenes of FRED & GINGER dancing

    to the music org.JIMMY DORSEY
