No problem. I wa sjust curious why it was deleted. Schutt makes great products. If I didn;t hvae newer equiipment and like it so much, I would definitely look at schutt stuff.

I tend to agree with ekpentz that the Riddell Power Extreme pads are great. However, this video doesn't even attempt to compare the Schutt Air Flex to the best pads on the market. Impact protective (Impact performance pads) are the very best pads you can buy. I just bought a set and would compare them with any pad on the market.

what a stupid comment ekpentz! the riddell power pads havent been updated or upgraded in oh i dont know, lets say, since they were created, you enjoy your prehistoric pads while we play in the top notch gear.. hope we run into each other on the field, because your pads may just explode when mine hit yours. SCHUTT ALL THE WAY

The Riddell Power Extreme pads were introduced in 2007 (Riddell purchased Power in 1988 ). The traditional Power shoulder pads are basically the same technologically that they were in 1988. The Power Extreme pads have a new arch design, a new flat-pad system with a STAC padding configuration, velvet collars (super nice) and spacer fabric liner which allow the pads to breath. It's fine that you like Schutt but I would much rather have Riddell, Douglas, or Impact shoulder pads.

that is fine that you would rather have those brands, but schutt is the only company that has released more than one new shoulder pad line with new technology.. watch the videos and you will see the other shoulder pads padding systems compare to couch cushions.

@ekpentz I agree impact pads are very nice, but douglas is crap, my son wore them and he basically overheated each time he wore them. It's nothing but Schutt for him, since they are great quality, new tech and reasonably priced. Impact is just really expensive

The Riddell Power Extreme are the best pads you can buy. Period. I've never been a big fan of Schutt stuff.
